Trains at Liskeard, CML - 6/8/16

8 жыл бұрынIn this video I visited Liskeard station located on the Cornish Main Line and is one of the usual first stopping points on the Cornish Main Line for express services. Services are seen here by Great Western Railway and Cross Country.
I found Liskeard an ok station to visit however I didn't think it was great. The station was pretty dull and surprisingly enough was unstaffed which is unusual for Liskeard. I did meet an elderly couple who struck up a nice conversation with me during my visit here and it was great to talk to them. Overall the services here were good. Apologies for no Looe trains in this video, the only train I could have filmed I missed because of two delayed services on the main line.
My next station is St Germans on the Cornish Main Line. I look forward to sharing that with you. This will be on Wednesday August 10th.

I had the pleasure of being on the Dundee to Newquay train between Leeds and Plymouth. One minute it would be late and the other it would be early.

+TrainSpotEast Thank you Kevin. Yes I was disappointed by that but they are once every hour and my time there unfortunately was limited so I didn't get the chance. On the bright side at least you saw the platform. 😉

yeah definitely, still good enough. Let's see what happens for the next parts in St Germans, Saltash and after that Plymouth :) I would consider coming down that way next Spring!

+gwrtv Yes I heard about it last night. A tyre recycling centre caught fire and trains I believe are only leaving from Truro.
