I'm "relatively" new in the 1/6 figures... and I was taken aback by the quality, flexibility and customizability of the TBLeague figures. Makes for extremely cool photography. I'm trying to better my photography this way. Figures from Hot Toys and Sideshow are very popular, but I always find they lack the body structure.. especially when you see the joints or where clothing compresses/creases around elbow, knee and hip joints. I'm picky about detail.. and those details throw me off. I also appreciate the fact that for whatever theme I want to replicate or imagine up.. TBLeague figures offer a vast variety of body types, which is very realistic. So you want to build a superhero type character, you can pick up either male or female bodies that have strong muscular definition... or you want to build a very sexy theme, you've got plenty of options from petite bodies, bigger bodies, chest sizes... etc... And probably the one thing that I appreciate the most about these figures, is hunting down head sculpts for whatever project I work on. The variety and the option of letting your imagination work is what I find awesome to these 1/6 figures. Kind of like playing Lego when I was a kid... but with more detailed and fragile pieces as a "grown-up". ...and never let anyone make you feel like you're a "pervert" for that. That's just ignorance all around.

This looks very interesting, looks very cool. I've always liked your phicen/TBL reviews. (it's how i found your channel, one of your vids, can't remember which, just randomly popped up in my recommended list, don't even remember what video i'd just watched, but i clicked, been following every since, lol) I'll have to wait and see if i can get her for my birthday, since i already got my xmas box.

TBLeague base bodies are amoung the best and I've swapped some cheaper bodied figures with theirs with pretty good success. Great video.

the paint they uses was a silicon based paint. as silicon will only stick to silicone.

Thanks for the tip, i've been wondering about this, wondering how to go about painting a silicon based model cast from a 3d-printed mold (with a metal skeleton in it naturally).

Yes the effects industry uses a plethora of silicone based pigments to use on prosthetic pieces. Same technology is used in phicen figures

I've got this one along with Gethsemoni the Dead Queen on pre-order.. (I'm guessing it's a pre-order for this next shipment).. Can't wait. I know nothing of the "Court of the Dead" lore or theme, but I collect TBLeague figures and I love the thematic here.. I really wish more figures would come on the Phicen/TBLeague bodies... amazing work they do. I don't subscribe to the idea those are for perverts either. Anatomical accuracy is as important under clothing as the clothing itself in my opinion. It's nothing sexual..

I dont own any of these phicen figures, but I love fantasy art and figures in general. One thing that always glares out at me which could improve the phicen body a ton would be the neck. It looks so unrealistic compared with how beautifully designed the body itself. The way the heads pop directly on top of the neck instantly ruins the look if you ask me. Reason being, because heads do not sit on necks in that way. It makes the neck look too short and makes the head look so strange. Especially in side view. I think if they designed the necks to have a slight jutting forward and with a slightly longer neck it would help a great deal. Quite possibly would have to have the hole i nthe base of the heads sit a little farthe rtowards the back of the head too.

what about the silicon body? im thinking about to start to collect those figures but my only concern is this silicon body that cracks after a time on mostly the elbows or armpits, knees and other parts where articulation is possible. did they made finally a silicon that doesnt crack anymore? or are those figures all damaged after a year in use?

The material is not silicone. It's a non-phthalate ester. Or Jelly rubber used in adult toys.

Use baby power to keep it dry. No extreme poses. The silicone tends to warp and break over long periods of time. :) Thanks for the sub! :)

Thanks youtube for not showing this in my feed. Glad I found it after doing a search for reviews. God forbid I get the videos I'm subscribed to. Why the heck do I subscribe to people and not get all the videos they put out. Does youtube actually know what subscribe means? You subscribe so you don't miss the videos you want to see. Not showing videos at F ing random defeats the purpose off subscribing. Jesus F ing Christ. Anyway I already bought this. Might sell my lady death now. She is looking rather weak next to this.

only flaw is she doesnt stand at all. why are they make a base where nothing is there to make her stand? its useless. now i have to buy a figure holdsupporter or what? should be included for a price of 265!

I was able to balance mine to stand on her own but I ended up putting a misc. waist grabber underneath as a safety measure.
