Her voice is way too high it sounds bad if she's just singing high the whole song it's so I uncreative she's repeating short words it might sound good but high notes all the time and it will hurt your ear if your using headphones that's why it's the hate it's true it hurts my ear when I'm using headphones it's not a opion it's a fact

I'm always impressed when they can pull off long single takes. There was an episode of X-Files where they did these massively long single take shots that was apparently an homage of sorts to a Hitchcock movie.

a lot of people think it's a catchy song which is behind the popularity obviously, and she seems like a good person since it's pretty nice she allowed other dancers from NYC to have their talent in a "professional" video that became pretty popular. They looked like they had fun so why be so critical?? I'm not an expert on autotune, and anyone that isn't can't confirm she's using it, but if you support the opinion that electronic music is real music and think "if we enjoy how it sounds, why is it bad for not being made by 'real instruments?'" then that just confirms the fact that it's still music even though it's digital, so I don't see the problem with autotune. what dictates real music? fabricating sound with technology can be music too, just think of the technology used as an instrument. It produces sounds we enjoy. there's no point in taking a step back from an evolutionary step forward

This is exactly how she sounds live. Hardly autotune apart for the "aaaa" bit. We're so used to auto-tune these days that when a true artist come we can't even tell if it's her/his real song. Sad times.

I know everybody talks about how this got filmed in one shot, there was a ton of pressure on everyone not to make a mistake right??,, how about the singer herself??,, not only that she had to be in focus of the camera the whole time, but she had to learn all the dances of all the dancers and do it with them from first to last one!, that's put way more pressure on her than everyone else!, that's amazing

Yeah, what adds to that also is how it ain't a totally closed set or nothing. You've got a few random people walking into the frame in the background and they could easily have ruined it. But in the end the brought a bit of real life into the frame. Yeah hats off the the director who must had about 20 things to coordinate off camera, plus the must have spend days practicing that routine. That's how you make music videos that last.
