my fears are more mundane than being stranded in space. I'm afraid things in life will become too expensive to afford in the future. I'm also afraid I may need to get painful tooth surgery one day (and that will also be too expensive, because yay USA). I'm trying to study and attend school again so I can have more skills and be more prepared for the future, before it's too late. I also get afraid that coyotes will come and attack my dogs when I walk them at night though. I hear them and see them in my area trying to hunt the wild rabbits that come out at night, so the darkness always scares me for that reason. Oh yeah also earthquakes scare me because I'm in California. So we and Japan have that in common 😅

Recently we have had many earthquakes again, so I have prepared a disaster prevention kit again. I have also added fall prevention fittings to furniture in my house. And I always check the evacuation route in case of tsunami. It is really scary because we cannot resist natural disasters... (I am also frightened by the recent brown bear sightings in the area... 😂)

To answer the second question no, in my experience, I can't hear the sounds of cars or birdsong unfortunately. Either your microphone is working well, or my earbud is bad lol. Just can hear the sounds of rummaging and collages 👍
