Comienzo del concierto del cantaor granaíno Kiki Morente, que organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Murcia dentro del programa de actos del XXIV Festival Internacional 'Murcia Tres Culturas' bajo el lema 'Por la tolerancia', se celebró en la monumental Plaza de los Apóstoles teniendo como telón de fondo , el exterior de la 'Capilla de los Vélez'. Una vez más y en memoria de su padre los comienzos de los conciertos es un claro homenaje a él. Recordemos que Enrique Morente comenzaba su concierto por tonás, el 6 de agosto de 2010, en el Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas de La Unión (Murcia). Al año siguiente (2011), lo haría Estrella Morente, un día 6 de agosto coincidiendo con el aniversario de su padre en el mismo lugar, también por tonás y esta noche de primavera Kiki también quiso ese reconocimiento en el comienzo de su nuevo disco 'Azabache' rendir homenaje a su progenitor.
