Her Japanese, Korean, and English sound super different lmao Her Japanese sounds really polite even though she's using informal form (maybe because she is in Japanese TV). Her Korean sounds super cute. Her English sounds like your everyday casual speaker. Her Chinese... I can tell she's not that fluent. But she is trying pft. She's super gorgeous.

The actual reason why Korean people generally don't like Kiko is bc she has made a mistake online. She posted a pic of her with the 'Rising Sun Flag' of Japan on SNS. Korea has suffered a lot from the historical crimes of Japan before. So to Koreans, the Rising Sun flag is as terrible as the Nazi flag is to Jewish people. Just wanted to clear things up bc I see some people are confused as to why Koreans don't like Kiko.

I used to think everyone everywhere spoke multiple languages then I moved to the United States . I was born in Russia ( now Ukraine) to a French Canadian mother and a Korean /Russian father . I spent the majority of my formative years in New Brunswick . Speaking only French and Russian when my mother baby sister and I moved to the United States when I was 7 in 1996 , I was shocked because although I was raised in Canada , I had been to Odessa and Sweden to visit the grandparents and the people there were bilingual for the most part . I had to learn English which for an unfamiliar 7 year old is a pretty difficult language to grasp , by aged 9 I was fluent enough although I still struggled at times . Some people have a gift for languages and Miko appears to have that . I really don’t know how people get along in life only speaking one language

I can understand, speak, write and read fluently in 3 language which are English, Bahasa, and my own mother tongue Dayak, medium understanding in another 3 language which are Korean, Chinese and Japanese. But however although I can understand these 3 foreign language but I don't really know how to speak it or to read/write. But I can say I can listen quite well. Just now when she pretending to speak in phone I literally can understand it. Oh I wish can speak fluently in all 3 language must be nice.

Iris She has a Korean mother and an American father, that's why she is fluent. And she grew up in Japan, so she also learned Japanese of course. I'm more impressed by her Chinese, it is far from perfect but I'm still impressed.
