Tennant played this role so well that I struggled to hate him for the actions he did. I think that Kilgrave was a despicable yet charismatic villain but Tennant being Tennant just made it harder for me to hate him.

I just watched Jessica Jones S1 again because of your awesome "Bad Guy" Kilgrave edit. I just got reminded how creepy and hateful Kilgrage's character is! Your edits are brilliant, but there's just something haunting about Kilgrave that can only be seen/experienced when you watch the series. Hope you don't mind my asking, what brought you into making this Kilgrave vids? The show's been long gone. I actually love that you're doing it, just curious why now again?

Sam Nicolas thank you so much! I haven’t even watched all of season 1. I loved David in Good Omens and my friend requested I make a Kilgrave edit for her birthday. So I sped through all the scenes with him to make an edit in time for her bday. I kind of got hooked and decided to make another one. :) thank you so much again!

As much as I loved your last Kilgrave edit, I love this one more. This one shows the dynamic between Jessica and Kilgrave in all its terrifying glory. You show why Kilgrave is my favorite villain. He's actually scary and in this show, they do a brilliant job of showing why you should be scared of him. Thank you for this amazing edit. I especially love the way you use the parallel jumps and the bits where Kilgrave isn't actually there because those are some of the most disturbing bits and I feel they're often overlooked!

Dang, this is good. It perfectly captures how dark and sinister Kilgrave is as a character. David Tennant really did a fantastic job showcasing how despicable Kilgrave was while also bringing him down to a human level and leaving viewers with the bone-chilling realization that he could pretty much be anyone. It's not hard to imagine that someone with a power as dangerous and isolating as that could end up just like him.

Jessica didn't choose her powers either, yet she doesn't go around raping or killing anyone. No matter how much Kilgrave has "suffered," nothing justifies the horrible things he's done.

Even if it were true he didn`t know when the mind virus in his body was working on people and when they were just being nice to him like he claimed, he still forced parents to emotionally scar their children for life because he saw them as an inconvenience to him personally, he still stalked and raped Jessica(And even though it wasn`t physical, it still wasn`t something she was consciously able to consent to at the time so yes, it`s still fucking rape!), he still forced people to jump off buildings just because he could and still forced Luke to fight Jessica because he was possessive of her and jealous of another man being close to her!That`s not love, that`s lust,stalking and obsession!

I just watched it with my dad and he said like: "oh, cool" and i think so too. But I'm really sad about Kilgrave's death, I need him. And the fact that he appears later doesn't matter, because this is not enough😭😭

Kilgrave appears only in the first season?

This is so freaking amazing, I love it! I finished season 1 of Jessica Jones, and I only started to watch it for David Tennant, since he is my favorite Doctor in Doctor Who and Crowley in Good Omens. The transitioning was amazing, everything was really on point. The sounds were in line with the music: you’re a great editor 😉. I’m an editor myself, and this video was amazing. Keep up the good work, and you’ve just gained another subscriber!

This is another awesome edit by you; it catches the intensity of the series, of Jessica and Kilgrave and their... I almost don't want to use the word relationship, very well. This man is a monster and even though the entirely sweet David Tennant portrays him, you cannot help being scared whenever he is and even when he isn't on screen. Great job capturing that 👍

I adore your videos. Every time I watch a new series I come to your channel to check if you've made any videos for that. And this is going to be one of my favorites (right after Rebel Just For Kicks with Crowley). I love that Lorde song and it suits the mood so well. And I love your choice of the scenes because there were many important scenes in that show but the ones you chose for the video were the most emotional and showed the relationship between Jessica and Kilgrave the best. And the sync with the music is spot-on as always. You're very talented, someone should hire you to make movie trailers or something.

ohMHOHMYOOHMTYYYYYY THIS!! Is the best jessica jones vid ever!!!! The editing is SOO WELL MATCHED I got double chills. My fav scene is when you show mindcontrolled!jessica jumped and it change into present!jessica WOW the transition is soo smooth and also give double meaning along with the precise backsong. AND THE ENDING!!! I knew it that scene MUST be the ending coz it. just. perfectly. fit. AND LASTLY! THE SONG!!! Perfectly described Kilgrave and honestly I will be very disappointed if nobody make a kilgrave vid without that song so tHANK YOU SO MUCH
