Emm the title is a little wrong. The coldest place where people live i think is the Irkutsk region of siberia . Over there you would not be able to do your food prep out in the open in sandals. You will not find a running stream in the middle of winter.

@@JulieIelasi-lt7yp seriously can't be that cold if the stream is running. Have you ever seen upstate New York in the height of winter where the Niagara Falls river & waterfall freezes over? So I think there are probably many locations in the world that are colder than the place in this video.

I have no words, this video is so humbling. They cook squatting on the ground to prepare their meals, they sit on the ground to eat as a family, and in silence in respect to God, they are so beautiful and have lovely smiles, chuckles. @@BrianParrish-ze6mx my husband is Pakistani as they rise in the morning time Daystar cooking they cook breakfast and start dinner right after that and around 5:00 or 6:00 but it would take them all day long I guess they're not used to gas stoves 🇺🇸😋

It is admittedly very cold there. I don't want to minimize, but the undisputed coldest city in the world is Yakutsk Siberia in Russia. I enjoy the fine food these ladies put together.

Don’t be fooled! They have water that runs inside their home. They have electric heaters gas heaters refrigerators and freezers. That food would be frozen solid if they had to run down to the creek to wash it it would’ve been frozen before it got there. Things aren’t as hard up in the mountains as most people believe, I guess it makes for great viewing

I live in a warm state in the US, and i could never live in a cold environment. I'm envious of any people in the world who can tolerate the cold bc i love snow. My body shuts down in 70° weather, so watching them do everything with the most minimum of clothing and putting their bare hands in the water is so astonishing. God bless them.

My God! You area is unforgiving. I am from Pakistani Kashmir and understand hardship of living in cold weather and snow. But, we are blessed to have a lota Pine Trees which are easy to cut, store and burn. Plus we use Tin of Roof where snow can't stay and slipS

what a hard way to be cookin' dinner, without modern gas stoves and/or electric oven, plus better pots & pans. must have taken 2 hours easily to get the chicken properly baked. and needing too much hand/finger direct touching actions which could risk fire burns. much respect to these gorgeous duo 🥰.

I was invited to an Afghan a few times when I lived in Aalesund to eat Afghan food his wife made. There was a lot of various dishes to chose from on the table. They picked the food with their hands which was strange to me. However, it was good.

It’s not cold or freezing. That water will be frozen if the weather is already at freezing point and those ladies will never be able do those washing with their hands. You cannot even work on your car outside in a very cold day even with gloves on for five minutes. Those who know the pain that one experienced when the hands are exposed to very cold weather will know what l am talking about.

The weather doesn’t get too cold every time the snow falls and the weather sometimes becomes nice and warm after the snow falls. I think their weather just got warmer after the snow as you can see, the snow has stopped falling.
