He doesn't want to lose the millions he's bring in with JRE and he saw how hard people turned after Jack Dorsey on the show. Then he stopped going live after Adam Conover and the Trans athletes debate. He seems to be staying in some safe boundaries now with guest and even on this show.

Damn, teared up 3 times in the intro. For the most sinister roaster in comedy, Tony sure does have a big heart. I’ve watched probably 100+ episodes during c19, and been watching for over a year but I have been saving this episode. Thank you for everything you do, Tony (and redban, and the comedy store).

I think Joe is just kinda off on the vibe of how ruthless Tony is with the comics. He says all the time he doesn't like being mean to ppl and tries to be constructive. Dom is just there to make an old insult comic dig for the jugular that ppl cant handle today and its great. The cringe is thick but it just works with the show. The biggest prob is the sound quality.
