They're both good friends. Tony is wily but he's actually a heart of gold. You can tell this is so because of when he defends the brave souls on stage while he's roasting them and some drunk heckler makes a stink, then Tony IMMEDIATELY jumps on the heckler for nearly a full minute berating the heckler's life choices and company kept. He also gives Redban props at the beginning of every single show and plays the straight man to all the crazy stuff Brian says playing up the fool

ya.. the comment i made last week seems to still be extremely relevant. i think it somehow got deleted but i was basically sayin you have to go out and do the same jokes every night. unless u get some sort of buy in (like being a prefamous celebrity), there's really no easy way to be funny and consistent. I wanted my first time to be on KT because of the attention it gives u. Went to NY and TX to see them. Its not some open mic where everyones half in the bag, cant hear u and no ones listening. at least with KT, it's one minute, the audience will give you that. I really wanted my first time to be on it because the route to being a successful comedian is extremely arduous and filled with ppl telling u shit who dont know shit, mean shit, or understand shit. I didn't want to get defeated by the trivialization of dirt open mics, but I didn't get picked in my travels to KT. For me, when I started elsewhere.... at random non-comedy specific open mics, it meant canceling/rewriting/overthinking all my jokes, but I also don't live in a comedy hub like Austin, like most people trying it, so it's even harder. Ellis is also a natural on his feet, he charmed and continues to charm on his feet, but he's literally not doing the homework. i get life does not make writing/practicing easy. but thats what you gotta do. he's not just insulting the show/tony he's insulting himself. hard comment but it's the truth. i hope he just starts writing more or more aggressively, or performing more, or whatever he needs to do. hope to see him succeed at the art.

It's actually even more brilliant, because most actual musicians (instrument players) know who aphex twin is, while only underground electronic producers usually know who he is. So really, almost no one in the crowd really knows who he is, but there's always at least 1 that does. That's why these jokes are so brilliant. He keeps saying them and the only thing getting the actual laugh is William himself, he's trolling the audience because everyone in Austin is suppose to be so hip and they don't even know who he is.

@@badabing2302 Williams jokes are my favorite, been watching this dude for years on kill Tony and every set is smart and references things that I grew up with because I'm old. We’d like information on how to support and help Tim Warner. I actually thought he was very funny, just had a rough go recently. Let’s help this guy thrive.

There was a period where Williams was trying very experimental material and I hated it. He quit drinking and his style changed and now I'm loving it. Moral is, its only a minute, might as well give him a chance. He may surprise you

How this show has half the subscribers Brendan Schaub’s podcasts do is absolutely mind blowing. It has to be a PR issue because this is without question the greatest podcast out there. Hinchcliffe is a comedy genius.
@Aquamatiic2 жыл бұрын
Wow I can’t believe that Tony is on a different level with this show, I think the only reason Brendan has more subs is because it’s not just one podcast he has like 4 podcasts which is ridiculous but not really because he’s getting more exposure. Tony is a hell of a lot funnier than Brendan, if Brendan were to do a minute he’d look like a first timer. Tony’s show is being suppressed because of the name of the show kill and then someone’s name

Im not even subscribed but I watch basically every show.

KT was shadow banned due to all the non-PC jokes. They were stuck ~100K subs for a LONG time before finally breaking through.
@JohanLiebert1 Жыл бұрын
@@Piggyn probably right about that but i love the fact it doesn't hold back like everything else does these days too scared to upset anybody it just makes for a very boring show

Mean Creek was a four-piece American rock band based in Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2006, the lineup consisted of Chris Keene (lead vocals, guitar), Aurore Ounjian (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mikey Holland (drums), and Kevin Macdonald (bass). The band released four albums over the course of their career.

I love how Redban said he keeps all his "jokes" in his phone as if it can't be stolen just as easy if not easier than a notebook and just as easy to be compromised or damaged or lost forever in many possible ways lol
@thegoodobserver2 жыл бұрын
The difference: phones back-up your notes to the cloud, they have screen-locks on them which prevents entry to phone, and they have GPS to locate if stolen. Phones also can easily fit into your pocket which makes stealing much harder.
