@@rossallen5121 Well, I'm not a professional musician that's publicly performing every single week and getting paid for it. Therefore I'm not under any responsibility of picking up a tune. I do have other skills where I do get paid for. If a client asked for any particular style within my field of expertise. I do have the responsibility of knowing what that person is asking for and me being able to perform it! The underlying problem is that Muehling, as a professional musician, was asked to play something wildly popular and he had no idea what to do! Pauly Shore called him on it, the entire band got pissed. Fortunately, they were able to put their ego aside and Google the piece, but it was hastily played. Pauly Shore tried to be helpful by singing along, but the tune was so badly played, he left it alone. That's were the underlying problem is. Only playing one particular style of music. You get called out, when least expecting it.

Yeah it’s Kill Tony 🌟 but realistically this is a low stakes gig for a musician and everyone there thrives on the spur of the moment slop. Safe to assume you never watched the earlier episodes with the old “band” that wouldn’t be able to pull smoke on the water out of their bag if their lives depended on it. As an extremely critical listener myself, I can assure you Matt is an improvisational beast when it counts. I’m willing to let slide not knowing the one chord progression Pauly wants to drunkenly grumble over and would consider the hiccup far from a “problem”

It worked OK with the other guys because they needed all the help they could have to distract the audience from most of their average jokes. Compared to the last 2, this one was H O R R I B L E. Partially because Ellis H was on it, mostly because Pauly wasn't sober. I've never found Pauly funny literally ever, but I saw some shreds of potential. His inability to look at the people he was talking to instead of the people he actually knew while talking about the people he wouldn't look at was unsettling.
