JSU sounds FUCKING AMAZING😳!!! A&M sounds good, too, but the BOOM is on a different level. The Divas were fine, and the J-Settes look like J-settes. Nothing to see there. Both look like they were ready to get to the bus to finish class assignments. I did notice the J-settes woke up whenever the band played a current tune 18:51😂😂😂😂

I’m sorry to be elite you have to be a Top 5 HBCU Band. AAMU is not in that conversation. They sound better than previous years tho. Lastly the JSU’s travel band is about the same size as AAMU band and the boom could be smaller & still blowout AAMU.

AAMU was clearly the better band. Nice selections, crisp and clear sound. The Boom did good as well, but some of those chords in those rap tunes sounded very muddy. But kudos to both bands.

1:38 classic great balanced sound, but 2:43 it gets out of A&M’s reach, JSU continues to expand their sound with good technique, followed with “joy and pain” something from a deeper book, and was not met head on. A&M has one of the most beautiful sounding bands in the conference, and most people are not aware of how great they are. JSU took it.

Both bands did their thing!! JSU trumpet section are very sloppy! The MMW were the cleaner band but the boom had a better book and were much louder!

I’ll be completely real. AAMU just needs someone on staff that can teach projection. NSU was this size in 2007 and had two times the volume. It’s a concept thing. They sound good but no real steam and fire.

JSU has that thunder. AA&MU has some good tone and balance to their sound, but it's not enough. JSU would get the W, but I feel like JSU held back knowing what they are capable of. This was a tie.

When we didn't used to have a lot of screamers and used to play to blend within the band yall would bitch and moan about where the trumpets at or we can't hear the trumpets. We get trumpets and now its too much screaming. People are never pleased, mind you this is still a very young section. In time, they will only get better and better

@@itscooby you can compare them even tho they are different. The divas have difficult counts, the captain played it very safe and the team as a whole just wasn’t as clean as the settes. Settes executed perfectly and danced big. Divas didn’t match the energy. Still good, but the captain has to up to count selection
