Yea the timeline is different, holly is a joestar, but instead of marrying a Japanese singer, she married a kira, which lead to yoshikage. Josefumi is a kujo, so when they fuse, josuke becomes even more like jotaro. With joestar, kujo, and Kira blood in him. But this is also a different timeline, with this Kira being in a later time period, the early 2000’s instead of the 80’s or 90’s.

So, it would have been around 2011 by the time Josuke was created, and he spent at most 1-3 months underground I reckon, seeing as we don’t know the entire process of a full body swap with the new Rokakaka. Part 7 has some of the worst fights in all of JoJo (with the exception of like 3 of them) and 60% of the characters are not really of any importance and/or are badly written. The only thing that is good about SBR is that it has a couple of really well written characters but they are the outlier. Honestly to be me it just sounds like a couple of people sat down one day and decided that they should randomly start simping for a part. I understand Part 2 elitism because Part 2 can really appeal to some people and has some really fun fights with characters that may not have heaps of writing behind them but are entertaining nonetheless. I don’t like Part 2 that much but Part 2 never bored me, Part 7 did, in fact it bored me a lot. Part 7 is like Part 3 in my eyes, it has some good moments but it feels like Araki wasn’t entirely sure what to do with this alternate universe thing. I still rank it high in my personal list of favorite parts but it’s by no means the best. I apologize if I sound like I’m trying to diminish your opinion or am trying to convince you that what you enjoy doesn’t matter but I just don’t understand this thing that I keep hearing over and over again. Am I not noticing something obvious?

@@herpydepth1204 I personally thought that the fights were pretty good because they all had established limitations, for instance johnny has a really op stand, however he can only utilise his act 4 power while on a horse (he also has to take time to recharge his nail shots), and it was also built up better, since Johnny's power grew with his understanding of spin and every lesson recieved from gyro. It also helped add to the tension because one of the main characters couldn't use stands at all. Gappy's stand was too strong imo, the moments where he was actually in trouble felt easy to solve, like during his fight with ojiro, he doesn't use his stands enhanced strength to pull the girl out of the tub, or the fact that he doesn't use his stand to throw out the snakes since only stand users cant see stands I think part 7 had everything part 8 needed, part 8 was about breaking the curse of the family. But unlike johnny and gyro the relationship with Josuke and the higashikata family didn't develop enough, besides mitsuba who was forced to choose between beauty or the life of her child, the rest the family just remains the same, Joshu is still spoiled brat by the end, to the point where he nearly wastes the last roka fruit. And the whole family turns on gappy rather easily imo. Even Kei nijimura talks about hating the higashikata family and priorities her mother over the family doesn't really do anything besides being a maid for the whole part, she doesn't even try to steal the roka fruit for her mother or anything. There were more emotional moments between gyro and johnny, like when the role of teacher and student switches at some points, and johnny teaches gyro about what it truly takes to win the race and he literally throws away everything for sake of winning. Or when johnny is forced to temporarily give up his selfish desires in order to save gyro. This doesn't happen with the higashikata family, and it barely happens with Kira and josefumi due to how little screentime they got. And they all only got to use their stands once or twice, only one of which had any actual relevance (vitamin c) And the villains were better in part 7 because they all felt alive, Dio is no longer a one dimensionally evil character and had to do some nasty stuff in order to get where he was, they all had their own backstories, whereas part 8 has the stone people who we are told rarely feel emotions but half the stone people we saw were capable of feeling love, like the Doobie wah guy (I forgot his name) and the guy who got electrocuted trying to save his girlfriend. And their backstories had little relevance too, whereas part 7 had some pretty sad and engaging reasons for wanting to win the race eg wanting to cure a family member. Doobie wahs backstory didn't really seem to have any correlation to selling fruits to rich humans. Admittedly part 7 cheats a bit tho, since we already know some of the contestants and some root for them out of nostalgia.

Josefumi fed Kira the New Rokakaka as Kira was dying with the intention of dying to heal Kira but an earthquake occurred and they ended up being buried in the Wall Eyes area, this fusing due to the Wall Eyes bizarre powers with Josefumi’s body taking parts from Kira’s body and becoming Josuke with Kira’s body left behind.

As the story progresses though it's revealed Gappy's body is half and half (as evidenced by the split tongue and irises), so following that logic it's probably safe to assume Gappy's personality is also half n' half.

Bon To be fair, the Kira's mind and Josefumi's body make up Josuke it pretty much what a lot of jojo fans have come to the conclusion of what makes up Gappy. And it makes sense because Josefumi made Kira eat a fruit to heal Yoshikage, and gave up parts of his(Josefumi's) body which probably healed his mind, and the second fruit eatan plus them being buried near the wall eyes caused Yoshikage's mind to be traded to Josefumi's body so that he could be healthy like Josefumi wanted, albeit because of the nature of where they were buried is what ultimately really bonded the 2 and the two became Josuke. Although I do agree that the body is a Kira/Kujo mixture. But that's just my opinion about this, everyone is entitled to their own.
