You wounder what the "Main Theme" from Back to the Future would sound like if it was on the SNES?
Well believe it or not but Daft and Toshiba EMI made a video game version of Back to the Future II on the SNES in 1993. It was only released in Japan so not much of us were aware of it's existence untill the internet showed up.
So enjoy.

Not really. The SNES has incredible audio capabilities for its time. Not for nothing SNES game soundtracks still sound incredible to this very day.

It was actually because Japan stole our secrets in the 70s. There was a big scam going on at the time but the papers covered a lot of it up.

And why waste such precious cash to localize a Japanese game adaptation of an American movie when you already have shitty games to screw over kids and fans of the movie with? Besides, back then by the time the game was localized and ready to be sold outside of Japan, the SNES would've been obsolete anyway.

That would be Hitoshi Sakimoto himself, the well-known composer for Final Fantasy Tactics and Radiant Silvergun. I believe somebody already mentioned it in the comments.

Oh yes, I have played it. It really is fun jumping around on the hoverboard... even though you use it for the whole game, and they do have patches for the game to translate the text.

@Luciferminusone The game was good. It had the story, theme, characters, and backgrounds of BTTF2. The dialouge is unreadable, but at least you know what it is, judging by the pictures. It has epic music, cool cinematics, and the gameplay is fluent and fun. This game is awesome!
