This band did a great job, they all did their job perfectly and the variation in music, and they all played the music perfectly.

What I don't understand is why they have the 2cd chair flutist playing the beginning solos, and not first chair..

It all depends on who could play the solo better and since 2nd chair did the solo means they could play it better

@@softballforever2625 Sometimes the fist chair probably passed it down to the next chair. I was 1st chair in 7th grade but second chair had a solo bc I didn’t want the attention all on me all of the time
