The whole problem with the Lisandra adventure mostly isn't the Lis fight in my opinion. It's how rng the adventure feels as a whole. Some decks just straight up can't deal with the, overall, strong encounters plus a nuts power that could neuter your entire build depending on deck. This is exacerbated even more early in the adventure. I could get a decent starting combo, but get utterly fucked by Omen Hawk with double stats and fearsome. In other adventures this doesn't tend to be as bad because you get more access to non-combat encounters and more chances to make your deck great or chances to find an alternative way to win or survive till you get to what you want to do. Lis adventure doesn't give you enough of a chance to do that in my opinion, and it makes the, in my experience, constant lows feel really low and the highs not that high because it feels like a damn rng slog just to get rattled by turn 3 Buried in Ice. The Lisandra adventure for me as a Path only player has made me single handedly not want to play LoR at all.

the whole debate about "limiting cards a player can play" is kinda flawed, since a power like that really matches the flavor of Freljord, Lissandra's region. if such a restriction was put on a non-freljord adventure, then it would be problematic (the only exception i can think of is limiting the amount of spells the player can cast in a Demacia adventure)

what a coincidence! i was playing PoC Pyke yesterday and i remember how awful he felt!! i hated him lmao, i missed so many lurks and when i played him at turn 7 or 8 he was only at 6 power 😭😭😭 more than once edit: i was at 2 stars and lvl 10

still don't understand why bone skewer isnt a lurker spell after all these years, and the unnecessary nerf of 5 cost is ridiculous

Being broken in PoC is not a problem, as the game is not a traditional roguelike in the sense, that it focuses much more on meta progression than on progression within a run and, rather than getting more stuff for just playing, in PoC there's a much greater emphasis on winning runs. The rewards you get after losing aren't very spectacular. Quite the opposite.

Evolution is an amazing power for almost every unit base tpoc deck, i love it specially with yuumi because at match start she summons 2 units that have at least 2 keywords and with no relics it can go up to 3 power and with specific relics can go up to 9 power.

Pyke in Path of Champions will always be a reason why I'll want something like an epic relic that allows you to choose any support champion you want, even if it had a downside like -8 rerolls or something.

Pyke with the item is quite good making him level if there 5 units for sure Making it way more realiable that any other items, and with the striking item it's almost impossible to not level

I have only played rek sai with pyke in that mode vs asol once and got screwed over by managem and asol high rolling the entire time

Just want to say double attack on a unit like pyke might be better at times without overwhelm. AI tends to ignore units with overwhelm unless they can trade so you wont get his board clears

I use Beast and Echoing (more Pyke copies = more Lurks) + Stalker, really good.

With the item you had on pyke, if your prayers were answered and you drew him turn 1 he'd be discarded since he's 3 cost and fleeting. Also dont think the -2 cost would apply to his spell. Edit: wrote that up just a minute too early 😂

Tbh when Poc was back in day. I mained Pyke and never have I ever won a campaign with Reksai. Not a single time. Nonproblems with something stupid like Braum or Sejuani.

He's had many breaks from LoR over his career, mainly when BoxBox's TFT tournament came up, as was the case recently, too. omg the reksai pisses me of. im lvl 24 with pyke and has seen reksai ONCE, and not only that i hyper rolled every highcost card and when i could attack i got a spell on top so no lurk. i was hyped af but got trolled by the game dying to the SECOND FUCKING ENEMY.

the real problem with your PoC videos is your lack of concentration. Since there is no real incentive to win (no LP) and you concentrating on chat (which is a good thing?), you're making obvious misplays. The vids are still very fun to watch, don't get me wrong, but man. It hurts my brain. xD

Pyke sucks at 0 stars.

This format is just a coin toss with fancy colors and animations, very little skill required. If the dumb AI high rolls you are just dead at turn 2 or 3, unless you happened to have high rolled even more broken cards. The more you grind the higher your baseline of broken shit so that eventually you can win anything. It's not a challenge, just a matter of how long you roll the dice until you get your "win". It's fun to see crazy combos in action, I give it that, but it's far away from what pvp offers :/
