@@HiddenPhoenix id actually say that the chicago typewriter has a better dps than the handcannon, as the fully upgraded handcannon is at 50 but has considerable delay, meanwhile the typewriter is at 10 and fully automatic sure it cant make knight ashley flinch but its probably better in dps terms

yeah, he's considered a super boss, an optional boss that's the hardest in the game. at least I think so because no other boss tests your quick time reflexes as much as verdugo does.

@young man James The game is from like fucking 2004 and has been released on every platform including mobile, I shouldn't have to be teaching this shit. Yes, verdugo is optional, click the elevator switch and wait it out, you do not have to kill it or spend any resources on it.

@@rpgfanatic9719 i probably played it wrong because I fought it head on and defeated it with only 5 pistol ammo remaining on my first run (lots of tmp, sniper and shotgun ammo spent). Normal and Professional without skipping this boss

@@countereclipse You have to kick over the liquid nitrogen and that lowers defense, but you still need like a magnum to even do decent damage.

el verdugo has an incredibly high damage reduction when not affected by the liquid nitrogen. If you only shot him while affected, it would likely die in around 2/3 shots

It's still impressive that he was able to resist to 5 handcannon shots, and for the knife trick, it's just something the developers have done to make you able to kill him even if you don't have anymore ammos left cause otherwise you would have been forced to restart. Also you are supposed to kill Krauser rather quickly since you only have a 4 minutes time to kill him and escape the stage.

This game has everything It has so many kinds of enemies with different characteristics and difficulties That’s what makes this game is RE best for me The only setback is Saddler that kinda too weak for a final boss

The reason why theres a free rocket launcher before luis died in castle is because you need to save it for verdugo fight . That is also the same reason why the merchant near to the location of rocke launcher unlocks the XL attache case .

@@dc.coversph i mean it’s pretty easy to beat him without the rocket launcher, i beat him many times with the frozen canisters, striker, and a few incindiary grenades

@@unrealluck yes we have a lot of ways to kill him . but the chapters next to verdugo requires a lot of ammo and herbs to accomplish with ease . You can save lots of grenades and ammo (sometimes even herbs) if you'll just save the free RL and use it for Verdugo . Based on my own experience .

Special 2 is also my favourite costume, I completed re4 3 times and I've got the infinite launcher, the chicago typewritter and matilda.

Also my favorite, I play on PS4 but originally started on ps2 back in 2009, I was 6 years old, didn't complete it until I was like 8, both because I was scared, it was hard and I played on easy difficulty, it exists, at least on PAL ( European version ) but was still hard, and back then, we didn't know that completing the simple separate ways, you unlocked special 2, I remember that the water room was really difficult, I did struggle a bit with it now on professional at for but after around 15 minutes or so, I completed it. The most difficult chapter, even with the PRL and Chicago typewriter ( can't afford the infinite launcher yet ) is chapter 5-4, the chapter with all mounted turrets and where you first meet Mike. The first area is pretty easy, its when 3 turrets shoot at you that's hard, because 1, you have to take out the dude on your left, and it's pretty much impossible without a rifle ( which I don't have), once he's out, I run over to the other side and let the guy on the ground take care of #2 for me, and then kill the third on the ground with a weapon or grenade, and just pull the switches. Once I get past this area, I pretty much only have saddler left to kill, if I can't get past this area, I might need to backtrack and see if I can get one, but I don't think I can, luckily, I didn't overwrite my new round, so I can start pro on new game + but I won't give up just yet

The regenerating plagas serve as the "Max Health" of the Regenerator They regenerate the health of the regenerators slowly, it's possible to kill them without using the scope but in a 1st playthrough, it's a risky play.

You can kill the regenerators without the thermal scope but you need to waste a lot of ammo doing so.
