Diamond and netherite armor has almost no difference in terms of kb, etc. You could combo someone in netherite since Mojang finally decided to fix netherite kb and made it more consistent. It doesn’t matter if Clown fought them in diamond or netherite because in the end of the day, he’s dogwater.

Svoen allowed his teammate to fight Clown Pierce. His teammate died and it became a fair 1v1. Svoen even offered to give Clown some totems but Clown doesn't accept pity totems. ClownPierce had time to eat a few gaps before fighting them. Pearls are in that kit for a reason. There's one exchange of them 2v1ing Clown but that's one exchange out of the many where they fought Clown fairly. If Clown could take 4 people at once, he should be able to handle 2. Your argument for why Clown died is invalid.
