Been like 7 years since story mode dropped and we still never got wither storm. If Mojang ported half of the stuff they introduced in dungeons, story mode and earth it’d automatically become their best update.

Yeah they could do this easily, but how'd it spawn? Do you spawn it? It's pretty big, like if they added it it will be the biggest mob, would you just put some obsidian and a skull on top of it and just casually spawns the biggest entity? I don't think it'll spawn naturally so it must be something other than spawning it yourself or randomly spawning.

No mob compares to the freakiness of the Wither Storm. If it was in the actual game it’d make the Warden look like child’s play. And the spookiness it has when you see it coming over the horizon, and that iconic music. It’s still the creepiest mob concept to exist so far. I wish Minecraft Story Mode was still around.

I remember playing this mod with friends. My internet was so bad, and I lagged a lot too. Those two combined together, plus the horribly destroyed world, locked me out of the server for like 20 minutes. Good times. 🤣

I haven’t really stayed up to date on Minecraft for years. I mostly played around the OG Bedrock days, back when it was finally being ported to Xbox. I still kept up with it occasionally in passing, though while I’ve had fond memories of it, I never truly stuck with the game to this degree unfortunately. Working has actually made it difficult to commit to this game as I have other games backlogged, so it’s been years since I’ve even seen the Ender Dragon. I’m just now discovering more of how the Nether got updated up to this point. So now I’ve gotta ask: *WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS FUCKING THING?*

Damn the music from the official story mode really makes the fight more immersive, and at the end the wither revives which is similar to the game, it's kinds sad that story mode is now gone, I used to purchase all episodes in Story Mode 1, never played 2 and wanted to try it but now it's all gone

I think this can be developed even further. Like when you actually kill it, it opens a portal to the wither dimension where you find the wither kingdom and challenge their defenses. Killing the wither king drops a super nether star of sorts that is bigger than an end crystal and illuminates as good as the floodlight from immersive engineering

Now that I think about it, the og mc story mode was set in 1.8 so you had no totems or elytra but enchanted golden apples were still craftable (i think). Imagine how difficult it would be. (Portuguese also? Noice)

We need a boss like this for the true late game, one that is really high in the sky and massive so you need to fly to/around it constantly. It should spawn at a crazy high coordenate and be in constant (although slow) motion towards your most visited chunks (which would be your base) deleting random chunks at once on it way. So you have realtime days to prepare and intercep it before it delates your base and world.

@@diamond_hcr2 Not like people enjoy any boss in this game at all. They are not a threat (in any way). But I never said it had to be an unavoidable encounter, with a bit of game desing there could be another set of structures spread across the world to peacefully force/imposibitate its spawn. New trade/interaction with the cleric villager perhaps?? And also, it would have a really noticeable spawn notification, maybe a sound and an gradual change in sky color or something.
