Watching this for the first time and I assume tony will hate this, though it's earlier on Jeremiah wasn't twisting his screws quite as much initially, it seemed like a real family thing later on, where you kind of enjoy tormenting each other to show your love.

@@chasemonaro Very true. Over the past few years, many people have used the term "cognitive dissonance" improperly, but this is a perfect example of the process of cognitive dissonance reduction. That is, Tony committed so heavily to believing in William that it would cause him great discomfort to admit that he totally misjudged him (at least as a comedian). This has happened with others he has chosen to feature, yet he never learns. I wonder if any of his guests/friends have the balls or ovaries to tell Tony that he is completely off base in his evaluation of how funny William is and, more dramatically, how good at improv he is.

@@chasemonaro I did not know he got rid of her; I just knew she was no longer one of the performers, but everyone "graduates" at some point. I know he finally turfed Pat Regan, but I thought it was due more to his attitude. I hate to beat a dead horse but I have rarely found anything William has said to be funny or clever in any way, and he is not odd enough to receive the Andy Kaufman comparisons. In fact, as time goes on, it seems more and more that his silliness/oddness is more contrived than anything else.
