It’s always exciting to test new glazes, in this kiln opening, I have a few pieces with the new spectrum floating glazes.
I use plainsman M370 clay and fire to cone 6 slow cool!

Yes. I live spectrum glazes as well. I have some great glaze combinations. I haven’t experienced a problem With the sangria but I have been useing porcelain mainly. I really like the river rock glaze and that red 2 combo.

Wow!! What a beautiful kiln load! Everyone is using the new spectrum glazes and I told my self I would NOT buy anymore glazes, I dont NEED them, don’t have the room and don’t need to spend the money. Let’s see how long it takes for all of that to go out the window!! lol.

Thank you! I really do love the new glaze! I just took a sneak peek in the kiln and it looks like another great glaze firing! Trust me, I did not need more glazes 😂

Hi! Love the new Spectrum glazes! I think Bougainvillea is my favorite. We have bougainvillea in our backyard. It's so beautiful! Are the Spectrum glazes user friendly? Do they brush on nicely like Mayco and Amaco glazes?

how did u get the new spectrum glazes? i looked them up last night and they are all sold out. then i contacted my supplier who told me they have not been officially released yet. where did u buy them?

how do your trays stay flat? i watch Jas as well and made some trays and they warped. cone 5 2167F

They need to dry slow, Todd puts them on drywall and covers them with plastic for a few days!
