I'm part of the CCC (Chicago Children's Choir) and I just want to say that after you guys visited and performed for my choir, it really inspired me to continue with music and singing, right when I was about to quit, thinking that if I did I could grow up to be as great as you guys! Did you notice how they replaced the word "tahakin" (to travel)... with "hatakin" (to pull)? Fits the song too, actually i think "hatakin" has a more poetic and metaphoric feel to it than "tahakin"

Sephulturero I was about to say the same thing. "Hatakin" made me laugh at first, but then after thinking about it, I don't know how to explain it....gave me goosebumps. eto pa, concerning sa subs..., "Tinatala sa tala"..."tala" is a list. "tinatala" is the act of making a list or something like that. Ironically, "tala" is deep tagalog for "star". so yeah minor stuff.. Great job guys! hoping for more OPM covers.

Dei Yuwell their translation of the "tala" part is actually correct. The actual lyrics is "Tila tala sa tala ang layo..." (The distance is like stars apart) and not "Tinatala sa tala sa layo." (Listing down the distance)... the latter wouldn't make sense. Besides you can immediately tell the song is refering to a "star" because the stress in on the first syllable (TAla)... and not taLA (2nd syllable stress) "list."

Dei Yuwell it sounds tinatala sa tala (writting on stars) than tila tala sa tala (seemingly star to star) so much... anyway lyrically they are both good.

+Dei Yuwell I had the same mistake when I first heard the song. "Tila tala sa tala" and "Tinatala sa tala" are yes both lyrically good, but what makes this line particularly interesting is the fact that the listeners could beautifully mishear the line or make that same beautiful mistake.

Danin Krystal The song is about a Long Distance love relationship and how the distance makes it even more meaningful... "Kilometro, kilometrong layo" => roughly translates as 'many kilometers apart'...
