Kim dracula is my favorite artist. I crave a full album of the make me famous n drown style. I like paparazzi and killdozer. But these last two tracks are truely next level.

You are right John, Make Me Famous and Drown are literally the coolest songs ive heard in a minute. Paparazzi and killdozer do nothing for me and i cant stand them, theres something about these newer tracks that have that crazy random sporadicness but while having an insane amount of rhythm. Some amazing song writing and I cant wait for the future of this band.

I am obsessed with Kim and I really really hope to see them perform live someday!! Also I agree with Chels that this song is 10/10. It's like my all-time favorite currently! The lyrics, the variety, Kim's voice, all are 😍💯

Kim said the backstory behind the song drown is based off of mental illness and how they wouldn't be the person that you are and the constant running is based off of them trying to get away from it

Either the illness is the "drowning" or they're telling the illness to go drown. I can see it being the latter but if its the former then that's kinda cool cause "I hope you fucking drown" is, to me, almost like saying "I hope you can be at peace with your illness." In which case, I hope you all fucking drown

I honestly think the song is about the bipolar toxic relationship we have with " the rich " , the way he doesn't ask or money or fame but a lifestyle, the cops on leashes. Not as strong of a theme as Make me Famous but it's how I see it

I love Kim, they're so fucked up and not afraid to not give a shit. The music is superlative as are the videos. Takes me to my happy place (guess I'm not ticking any boxes on the .. oh who gives a fuck). They're music just gets the adrenaline sky rocketing

Kim Dracula got their name for the song by deftones like they said in the video. Trap core has nothing to do with drag queens, it’s derived from the genres hardcore (metal and punk) and trap which is a hip hop genre
