I liked her a lot too. But my favorite singer of the 80s was Kate Bush, the 90s…both Tori Amos and PJ Harvey. I liked Kim’s gardening shows of the early 2000s a lot mind.

She was never underated. She enjoyed success and the spotlight for few years. She maybe didn't get the right sound after 1983...pop became larger than life and italo disco, new romantics, etc displaced many early 80's popstars.

this is not live whatsoever how can her singing talent be impressive when she is miming. Kim has little charisma she admitted that herself, she was awkward, robotic, distracted in this video... her femininity ... you mean her tight dress and exposed chest.... the forceful will of her manager dictated this image it was not something Kim felt comfortable with. The truth is beyond what you are seeing, read her book and then you can absorb it

Но вообще-то Ким Уайлд - это икона брит-попа начала 80-х. Те кто в эти годы был уже в сознательном возрасте и посещал дискотеки, её помнят (должны помнить) хорошо. На её, Ким Уайлд, совести целая стопка неубитых хитов, по сю пору звучащих свежо и задорно. Ну и сама она, конечно, красавица, умница и комсомолка в одном флаконе.

I graduated high school in 1989. This song came out in 1990 and it didn't even place on the Billboard charts in the United States. Today, November 3, 2021, is literally the first time I've ever heard this song. This song is actually really good. Her singing is really good, and the music is great too. Wish I would have found this song sooner. Nice job Kim & band!!

I just found this song in 2023. I'm in Canada and always watched the top 30 every Friday on Much Music and I watched MM a lot but never saw this video. This song was nowhere in North America for whatever reason.

Just saw Kim live in Paris a couple of days ago on her Greatest Hits tour and let me tell you, she's still as beautiful and gracious to her fans as ever, it was an unforgettable experience! :D

I found her music a bit later, Close album was my first introduction to her music and it contains a big favourite of mine "Never Trust a Stranger". "You Keep Me Hangin on" is a big favorite too.

@@Lofote - Yes: "WAS", indeed ! She is 60 now : this is life and we have to accept by getting older to become less attractive and sexy. Above all women. Some can use tricks with tons of botox, make up or even surgery: however the results are often only ludicrous. Also the splendid blossoms of flowers last a short.
