@@angeloditerlizzi8855 The difference is that, nowadays, teenagers & young adults wanting to be successful in the mainstream 'popular' music industry are getting cosmetic surgery before they've even looked in the mirror & they're using auto-tune & pre-recorded performances before they've toured.....all because they believe those are absolutely necessary steps in the process. Unfortunately, when it comes to mainstream popular music & other forms of entertainment, society has become used to 'fake' & 'perfect' being the norm. This has been promoted & reinforced by very controlling corporate 'suits' running the industry, who are focused on marketing & profits to the detriment of creativity & soul. (Sadly, video killed more than just the radio star".... 😟) In contrast, during this excellent show, nobody noticed or cared in the very rare moments when Kim ran out of breath at the end of a phrase (except for Kim, who always had high standards for herself), or one of the backing musicians missed a note, or a band member came in a bit early or one of them was a bit too loud., etc., etc.. Any little imperfections that may have occurred were more than overcome by the heartfelt songwriting, great arrangements, passionate musicianship, and uplifting 'buzz' that Kim & the band were generating in the moment. When Kim & the rest of the band started out, they were young, talented, hard-working, and definitely energetic & entertaining on stage...in part because music & performing was in their souls, and , in-part, because those characteristics were necessary for them to establish credibility, hone their craft, connect with the fans, and lay the groundwork for a long & fulfilling career. Yes, the music scene had already become much more of a business/industry by the 1980s & early 90s (which Kim et al. already knew ,or learned very quickly) but as you can see in this video, back then, the best artists/bands were still authentic, sincere, inspiring....and definitely were never going to be 'fake' in mindset or substance. 👍😎👍

"Fantastic", I think, goes too far (but as you are concentrating on the most vital things, I give you a like). But adding that very nice ass to overall knock-out appearance - yes, she was crazy good looking back then (I actually saw her live in my home country in 1994. She was still stunning, survived(!) the vocals quite good but for some reason was really grumpy!?! :D )

I met him a few times, he was a really cool bloke. Even bought me a drink in the middle of one of his band's songs.

Unfortunately, many musicians have lost their lives in the music world in recent years. I am really sad.

@@ykm4818 I’m a very big Kim Wilde fan, I grew up with her music in the 80s and 90s. I still have all of the original 12” singles, every CD single, all original albums on CD & Vinyl, every re issue and expanded edition. There isn’t any Kim Wilde realise I don’t have. However even as a big fan I can admit that I don’t think she’s a great live performer, this particular concert is one of the better ones on KZfaq in my opinion. If you know of any better ones on here please do share a link. 👍

Und der mittlerweile verstorbene Gitarrist Steve Byrd war eigentlich der beste! . Er ist an Herzinfarkt mit 61 Jahren gestorben und nicht wie die anderen an Drogen... Seitdem hat größtenteils die Gitarre Kims Bruder übernommen. Er zählt heutzutage zu den absoluten Top Gitarristen weltweit
