"You Came" is the second single from the album Close by Kim Wilde. The song was written by Kim Wilde and her brother Ricky Wilde.
The single became one of the biggest hits of her long career, peaking at number 3 in the UK Singles Chart and reaching the Top 10 in several other European countries. In the United States, it was her fourth (and to date, final) single to reach the Top 50, peaking at number 41. It also reached number 10 on the US dance chart.[1]
I edited the song a bit to create an extended edit. I edited the video as well (the best I could).

"You Came" is a song by English singer Kim Wilde from her sixth studio album Close (1988). It was released on July 4, 1988 as the album's second single. The song was written by Wilde and Ricky Wilde after the birth of his first child, Marty. "You Came" became one of the most successful singles of Wilde's career, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart and reaching the top 10 in several other European countries, including Denmark, where it reached number one for five weeks. In the United States, it was her fourth (and final) single to reach the top 50 and peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The version of the song used in Europe and Australia for the 7" single was an edited version of the original on the Close album. An expanded version was also released in 12-inch and CD single formats North America, a remix by Shep Pettibone was included on both formats, with an edited version in the 7" format and two different dub versions (only available in the 12" format). The full-length Pettibone remix was also released on a separate 12-inch single in Europe. In the countries where "You Came" was the first Close single (namely North America and France), an exclusive non-album track called "Tell Me Where You Are" was used as the B-side, which is the same as the rest of the album World was the B-side of the first Close single “Hey Mister Heartache”. In these countries, the B-side of "You Came" was a track from the album entitled "Stone". A very good school friend who listened to almost all music suddenly collected Kim Wilde's Bravo Star Cut. First the feet, then the legs and little by little Kim Wilde, in all her power and splendor, stuck to his wall as a poster. And hand on heart!!! Haven't we all always been a bit “bluna” (Mistaken) because of Kim, the wild one...??? („You Came“ ist ein Lied der englischen Sängerin Kim Wilde aus ihrem sechsten Studioalbum Close (1988). Erst die Füße, dann die Beine und nach und nach klebte Kim Wilde in all ihrer Wucht und Pracht als Poster an seiner Wand. Und Hand aufs Herz!!! Waren wir nicht Alle immer schon ein bisschen „Bluna“ (Irrst) wegen Kim, der Wilden...??? )
