Q: 00:00:34 to 00:00:48 Woojin Congratulations on your journey, when you look back at your career what has been your biggest achievement and your biggest challenge.
00:00:29 to 00:01:06Woojin :The biggest achievement is CUBS' love. Challenges are always there with every album. In the first album, I wanted to show you a variety of genres. In the second one the idea was to create a brighter mood. The third one was the challenge of telling my story directly.
Q 01:09 to 00:01:16: Your 3rd Mini Album [I LIKE THE WAY] is the first chapter in your brand new journey, what was the idea?
00:01:20 to 00:01: 44 Woojin :What I wanted to show you through this album is, "Let's talk a little bit more honestly."Thats the theme that I wanted to sing and was the point in each song. I think it was well expressed.
Q 00:02: 09 to 00:02:20 From pop, Afro beats to hip hop each one of the tracks has a different vibe and feel. Tell me a bit about the process.
00:01:59 to 00:02: 26t Woojin: I was going to try a lot of new genres.I challenged myself to work on Afro Beats and R&B.It was fun. The result came out better than I thought, so I'm satisfied.
Q 00:02:39 to 00:02:47 Since your album is about transformation is there a moment in time which transformed you as a person and artist?
Woojin: 02:38 to 00:03:18: I think there were many moments that changed me.If there's a memorable moment,it is usually a moment of crisis which comes at once. A tense or critical moment, where I had to quickly organize the situation and show myself all that made me grow even more.
Q: 00:03:10 to 00:03:15 What are the advantages being an independent artist and are there any disadvantages?
Kim Woojin: 00:03:32 to 00:03:56: The biggest advantage is that I can tell what I want to tell you. The disadvantage is that there are some difficulties in filling the stage alone. But it's doing well enough.
Q 00:03::53 to 00:03:57 With KPOp becoming a global phenomenon what do you think makes it a special genre?
Woojin: 00:04:05 to 04:30: I think K-pop's strength is that it has a positive message.
The catchy melody and performance seem to have caused a boom, and are being enjoyed by all.
Q 00:05:06 to 00:05:14 K Pop is very competitive how does one maintain ones individuality as an artist and also as a person.
Woojin: 04:50 to 05;20 : In fact, there is no particular way to maintain individuality.
The personality I think is just the person.
I think everyone has their own personality because a person's voice, their behavior pattern, and thoughts all vary from person to person. I think it's all in one's mind even if one doesn't make a special effort to find one's personality.
Q 00;05:25 to 00:05:31Do you ever get overwhelmed with performance pressure? And how do you overcome it
Woojin: 05;32 to 06:14 There are moments when you feel pressure, and every time you do that, you always try to think better.It's a piece of paper.I think that those who try to do well and those who don't want to make mistakes have different confidence on stage. So when I have such pressure, I tend to control my mind that I should do better
than not make mistakes.
Q 00:06:05 to 00:06:10 you also have sang for dramas , which your favourite song and why?
Woojin: 00:06:27 to 00:06:48There are so many OSTs.My favorite song is 'Dive' from 'King the Land'. I think it fit my voice the best.
Q 00:06:37 to 00:06:47What have been your musical influences and is there any particular band/ group you dream to collaborate with?
Woojin : 07:00 to 07:40The inspiration comes from CUBS and myself.Because I think about what kind of message I want to convey in my music or what kind of message that person needs to hear. I tend to be inspired by that. There are so many people who are good at what they do, but I want to collaborate with Bruno Mars in the future.
Question puja 00:07:00 to 00:07:09 You have performed in India, if given the chance would you like to do music for a bollywood film. Have you heard Indian songs
WoojinIf 07:57 to 08:17: If have a chance, I would like to try composing for a Bollywood movie. Regarding Indian music , I am well aware of the song called Challeya , which I had a challenge singing the last time I went to India. I love that song a lot.
