I like this version of Miracle but comparing any of her recent music (Golden Echo onwards) to her early Sing Sing Studios recordings is like night and day. Of course that was 13 years ago now (ouch). People change!

Kimbra is always trying out new things (which i can appreciate). Primal Heart was a phenomenal record (it’s my favourite album from her) and I know The Golden Echo is a fan favourite too. I think she’s more into R&B & rap music now (alot of this was present on A Reckoning), it’s not everyone’s taste but i’m always excited to see where she goes next:)

Funny you say that, Vows is my favorite album personally but it's because she HAS something, is on the same wavelength, or maybe has the same ear musically as I do that I can still listen to her stuff today. Toro y moi is similar. These people change but there's still that intangible thing, (like you and me have) that doesn't make us that different even though things are.

​@@colinnewton615She had more firepower back then to make music and probably more people changing her stuff in the studio. Personally, I also love the production direction on the first two albums most but Primal Heart was also on Warner and was noticeably different. The first two albums were more theatrical and Pop orientated. But every artist changes. You can't listen to her reimagined and live stuff and say she still doesn't care. She has been sort of questionable outside of the music these past few years but the care is still in the music. We're just hearing more of her alone, which has its pros and cons.

You're not mature enough to sit at this table because clearly you haven't learned to accept criticism. She wouldn't be any bit successful if she couldn't handle and grow from it. All I know is I still buy the albums, meet the nicest people at her concerts, and will be seeing her next month. Don't be so negative dude, it's not healthy.

I disagree, Primal Heart followed and that was a fantastic record.

She needs to earn the money come on!
