You know how sometimes a song gives you a certain feeling you can not put into words? It is a mix of emotions, it's comfort, sadness, loneliness, yearning, a warm hug, all mixed together. I think no one other than Kim Feel can do this. It's like your heart hurts, but in the same time somehugs you, and this song does it. I know that Feel nim talked about the feelings he wants to convey with this song during his instalive, and my heart hurts that he has to go through all those feelings, but I hope in the same time he finds comfort in his own songs as well. I feel hopeless when I know that I'm giving comfort by his songs, yet I can not do anything to help. I hope you, Kim Feel, know that we're here, always cheering you and loving you. As you said, it's all right if all we do sometimes is live. That's how life goes about and there isn't much we can do, but we can be proud of ourselves and trust ourselves. I'm babbling because of the ammount of emotions i'm going through, but thank you and thank you again for the songs you share with us. You're the best. - Ayram

I previously posted the following to another Kim Feel's song. It applies here, as well. And I agree with you! Something magical happens when certain music is heard...we are stunned by its beauty and amazed at how it can possibly know us so deeply and clearly. The mind closes itself to painful, unbearable events but, the heart remembers everything--for it has a mind of its own. This music can break open the heart and release the sadness within...what remains are the memories--and profound comfort. And all the while we didn't know we needed this. So, we do this over and over again--we listen, we feel, we break open...and this is how we can bear to go on.

Yeah... There is something very very special in his voice, in his songs. I believe it's because he is a dreamer, a truth-seeker, a philosophic type of person. In this song, he sings about our life journey, our ego & identity, and our innermost struggles and solitude. This song is about something priceless. This song is about values, not about materials. Not visible, not countable, but not replaceable. I can feel tons of versatile feelings - frustrated, saddened, bitter, solitary, desperate, but still in hope. And he conveys all these feelings in his peacock-like voice. All mixed together. Such a masterpiece. Such a timeless one.

오빠가 이 댓글을 보게될 확률은 거의 없겠지만 그래도 지금 느끼는 이 감정을 어떻게라도 남기고 싶어 글을 써요. 좋은 음악 너무너무 고마워요. 불면을 듣고서 내가 나인게 자꾸만 버겁고 행복함을 느끼는 찰나의 순간조차 이내 죄책감으로 뒤덮여서 내가 온전히 나일 수 있으면 그 어디라도 좋겠다는 생각에 무작정 멀리 떠났던 때가 생각났어요. 그때 저 참 행복했었는데... 어느순간부터 이런저런 이유로 몸도 마음도 참 힘들었던 것 같아요. 저에겐 오늘 밤 너의 얘길 듣고 싶다는 구절이 마치 자기 자신에게 하는 말처럼 느껴지더라구요. 어쩌면 내가 내 스스로에게 진실한 얘길 털어놓는걸 듣고 싶어서, 그걸 기다리느라 그렇게 긴밤을 잠못 이뤘던건 아닌가 싶기도 하구요. 너무 힘들어서 다 놓아버리고 싶었는데 어쩌면 저도 지금보다 나아지고 싶고 나아가고 싶어서 힘들었나봐요. 고맙습니다 정말로. 제 인생에 와주셔서 구원같은 음악들을 선물해 주셔서. 지금보다 더 많이 행복하세요. 저도 꼭 그럴게요. 우리 오래봐요:)

Kim Feel, it's okay to feel tired sometimes. It's okay to be stressed out and cry. What matters is how you get back up and move on strong headed. We love your songs. Not everyone will feel the same but a few lot including myself get strength from your songs because they are from your heart. You are such a humble, amazing and gifted person. When you talked about the story and message behind this single in your IG live and I realized about your sleeplessness cause of the stress you been through in this past year, as a fan I was so sorry about it. Because as a artist you always try your best to give us hope, good feelings and show us a way to respect and love ourselves more, and heal our pains and souls. Thus I want to say we're so thankful of your existence, thanks for your hard working, and please don't worry about your fans opinion cause we always love your songs and their hopeful messages about a love towards ourselves.

@@Itsyourfans7 I don't remember it well, but what I understand and remember is he was going through a lot of stress and those stress made a lot of sleeping problems for him... He mentioned that he was so worry about his fans opinion about his songs... They didn't like his songs because they're not about love, and told him they're not good enough!!! So he has a lot of sleeplessness problems and couldn't sleep well because of those pressure imposed by others and last year was not a good year for him.... And because of those painful days he decide to write this song to tell about his feelings and be able to solace and comfort others with his song.... So as a fan I'm so sorry about what he been through, because his holy voice and songs always heals me spiritually, then I hope he spend more beautiful and fabulous days from now on. (Sorry about my poor English!)

😮 “fans” actually said that, telling an artist how he should create? I wish him strength to ignore such comments. Music is a form of expression and outlet for an artist. Kim Feel creates beautifully and I am grateful he shares with us.

@@goddess384 whattt??? His fans said that?? Omg . They should be grateful that kim feel didn’t produce love songs coz there are too many out there and it looks boring. By kim feel’s songs we could express our feelings, comfort ourselves and make us love ourselves more . That’s all thanks to him. He is such a talented and genius person who made songs using his own colours and not following music trend nowadays. I hope kim feel know that not all of his fans like that. For me, there must be some of them tht still want to listen to his music that made from his own colours. And he need to know that he is a great person, not only as a singer but also as a composer/producer. He have done his best and we are so grateful to have kim feel’s songs. It such a bless. 안녕하세요 김필님 지난 1년 동안 너무 힘들었어요 밤마다 잠을 못 잤고 잠이 들었어도 악몽만 꿨는데 ,술 먹으면 잘수 있을까 수면제 먹으면 될까? 하면서 지냈어요 누가 내 옆에 있었어도 나는 외로움만 느끼고 괴로웠어요 그런데 책임져야 할 일들도 있었고 사랑하는 사람들이 있어서 어떻게든 버텼어요 이번 노래 듣고 너무 너무 공감 됐어요 어떻게 나의 속마음을 이렇게 자세히 알수 있을까요 ㅎㅎ 그러다 알게 되었어요 아 ... 김필님도 그 만큼 괴로움을 느끼셨군요 ... 슬프네요 김필님은 항상 편안한 마음 있었으면 좋겠네요... 나로 살아가는 게 내게도 처음이라 ... 이렇게 의미 있는 노래를 만들어주셔서 정말 감사합니다 진짜 큰 위로를 받았어요. 그리고 악몽같은 올해가 끝나기 전에 이렇게 음악으로 ,따뜻한 김필님의 목소리로 토닥토닥 하면서 괜찮다라는 메세지를 주셔서 저에겐 정말 소중하고 큰 위로였어요. 내년에는 우리가 모두 완전히 힐링 되길 바라요 매일 매일 응원하고 사랑합니다 가수님. 항상 건강하고 행복하세요.

언제 들어도 좋은 곡... 가사가 너무 공감돼서 들을때마다 매번 위로받고 있어요. 나만 이런 감정들을 느끼고 있는게 아니구나.. 라는 생각이 들어서 위로받으면서도 한편으론 김필님은 항상 좋은 일, 기쁜 일만 가득하셨으면 좋겠어요. 물론 완벽한 삶, 완벽한 사람이란 없겠지만... 하루에도 몇 번씩 서러운 일, 속상한 일 투성이지만, 그리고 하루에도 몇 번씩 죽고싶다고 생각하는 저지만, 아직까지 용케 살아있네요. 김필님 항상 응원합니다, 김필님의 곡들 덕분에 구원받고 있어요.

Shouldn’t be at all surprised if he composed this in his sleep, when all the synaptic connections clicked perfectly. Another great song from Kim Feel, one of my favourite singer/songwriters. Essentially it’s a 7 note motif that rises and falls (like the scissor lift he’s on - what a good metaphor) from beginning to end. And what’s great about the tune is that, though varied, it holds its melodic strength. (I swear at times in this MV I thought I was looking at Son Suk Ku in “My Liberation Notes”. I love Kim Feel’s song “Here We Are” from that OST, too.)

Kim Feel is my favorite singer, period. His voice is beautiful, almost hypnotic and I feel like he sings to my very soul. I do not speak Korean but his talent transcends language. I discovered him when I first started watching Korean Dramas and heard him sing Fallin' from the Abyss OST, I have been an ardent fan ever since.

#김필 #불면 👍 곧 해가 바뀌고 나이는 한 살 더 먹는데 갈수록 취업은 힘들고 불투명한 미래에 대한 두려움과 걱정 때문에 잠이 안와서 김필님 신곡 계속 듣고 있는데... 큰 위로가되고 힘이나네요ㅠㅠ❤ 올해는 특히 코로나 때문에 힘드신 분들이 참 많을 것 같아요... 다들 김필님 노래 듣고 힘내시길 바랍니다. 내년에는 올해보다 더 행복한날이 가득하길!🙆‍♀️

This is a beautiful song, and I'd like to give thanks to the translator. I noticed that most phrases fit perfectly with the music (matching the number of Korean syllables). I'm sure that was a challenge, so thank you for extending the artistic vision to the translation. 💕
