I recommend not using back accessories for long hair that covers ur back as it will stick out of the hair

Here's some tips I can give: Try and keep your style choices open, don't use just one style (that way you can use different styles in case you lose interest in your main style), do your own thing, buy what you like and style it how you want, use games like 'catalog avatar creator' which lets you make outfits before you buy anything (you can also buy directly from the game and it will give you the items), don't be afraid to take inspo from someone else, just ask permission before you copy (but do try to add your own touches), be creative and have fun.

a little tip is that the faceless mask is a good replacement for headless, ofc it's not the same thing but it gives off the same sort of look, i find this helpful because most of the roblox faces don't suit my fits and i cant find any good ones so the faceless mask helps alot, i bought only one with the skintone i always use and i've been using it for months in almost all my fits!! (it might clip through face piercings and nose accessories, but that's mostly)

My personal tips: When looking in the outfit catalog for clothes, have a basic idea of what you want in your outfit, specifically certain colors or styles If you even browsed the catalog for things you liked and clicked on them, there will be a reccommended section for you which can find a lot of good stuff for you Don’t be afraid to experiment with different outfits that catch your eye, cause it could end up being what you were missing in your outfit Don’t use back accessories with long hairs as it clips through the hair Put a decent amount of accessories, but don’t go overkill so it looks out of place, it can bring your fit together

one thing for improving hair combos, is to always: FOR BLONDE HAIRS: there is many options for blonde hairs, there pretty easy to find! BUT, creators have different models and even different hair colors (ex. dirty blonde light blonde) so i would recommend you to buy from the same creator of the hair you bought

one thing I recommend is having two colors. for example a neutral color like white and then a main color like pink. it's important to have a neutral because something like white or black matches everything. the only thing I don't recommend is using two main colors like purple and green, which often looks odd, but sometimes it works.

Here are my tips (This is hella long so get a bowl of popcorn or sum): 1) Get into more fashion forward/alternative styles (yes i made a list for them) -Gyaru -scene core -decora Harajuku / decora kei -Y2k (This is more a range of aesthetics but i'd still count it in) -Emo -goth -barb -alt -Indie -gorp core -sanrio (This isn't fully a style but I felt it needed a place) -Lolita {This is a bunch of lolita aesthetics btw} ( and this style is severly underrated & mostly portrayed wrong) -Early 2000s emo - and anything in line with these aesthetics 2) Don't steal! Unless you got it from a catalogue game were you can pick and buy avatars, don't take what you don't deserve, cuz chances are someone worked hard for it. 3) Try to be with the times. IMO the styles I mentioned can be BUTCHERED SEVERLY, so have a list of how they are butchered. -Emo (People tend to be wannabe emos / 2020 emos, these are dominant in adopt me and mm2) -Preppy (Found sterotypically in adopt me, they look all the same. TBH the style preppy is good WHEN USED RIGHT, but these people make it seem bland and boring by using a palette of 2 colours & barley and colour theory goes in with these). -Goth (Most people end up looking like an emo) -Gyaru (Some people end up being white NO RACISM TO WHITE QUEENS, but it's part of gyaru culture to tan your skin to rebel against Japan's beauty standards). -Indie (Tend to be gorp core) -Sanrio (Some people just stick on sanrio assets and it may look like an eye sore) -decora (Some people just put accessories on the point of decora is to WEAR what makes YOU HAPPY) 4) DO RESEARCH! Can't stress how many people just pick a style without knowing a single bit about it. This is like the white gyarus in a way. The lack of research tends to be correlated with cultural styles. It's ok to wear a style, but at least do a bit of research for it. In fact, the research you did could help you make a better avatar. 5)Try use constructive criticism (E.G is someone says you look a bit random/ outta wack, try and find a theme to help make you more palatable for the eyes). 6) Don't give your style a bad rep. How do you think slenders & cnps were so controversial back then? 7) Try use a custom base (If your in rthro). It doesn' have to be a change in body parts, you can resize it to fit your wants. Told you It'd be a mouthful.

as a character designer (i dont really have a degree or post really any designs its mostly just personally) you shouldnt just consider the aesthetic, but also consider how someone wearing the outfit (or yourself) would act if youre trying to find an animation pack or facial expression, and not all people act what they wear but just think of it that way but also a total rebel baddie wearing a cutesy cottagecore outfit would be so cool im writing that down anyway, this is an awesome tutorial thanks bye

I’d recommend picking a color and a theme first. U can pick out all the accessories first and then find the perfect hair and clothes that match the theme and color. U can also have a color theme like warm colors. Orange, red etc. I make outfits like this and I usually have a vibe when I do them. Like if I’m making a preppy avatar maybe I have some preppy music to set the vibe. U also have to think about what ur buying and how many times ur gonna use it. Like I make my avatars have the same item on many times since it makes the item more useful. I’d recommend doing this method with accessories and not hairs and clothes

i suggest using the legs from the Lindsey package (free) because in R6 the legs don’t get cut off with woman torso whereas the woman torso + blocky legs = glitchy in R6

Here are some tips to improve your avatars: (atleash to me) 1.) *Wear an accessory before making the fit* if you do the fit based on them, it will probably look better ( i prefer hats but it can be something else ofc) 2.) *Dont just stay in one color. * Try out new combinations. Just because the color scheme you are using is popular doesn't mean that it's better. Use your imagination ( but don't make it messy atleash lf you dont want it to look like a childrens playground, 2 or 3 colors are nice 3.) *Don't just stay ln one style!* Try out different ones. This is a very common mistake to me. If you don't know your style or always stay in one just dont do it everytime. try out more outfits ( without buying them whitch i explain in 4.) If you are sure you like it and have a good feeling. I say listen to your heart.

R6 is also really useful with the man thing instead of the adjustments. For woman, you replace the torso with the classic female torso.

Tip: dont use only one color too often. Add some color combos, such as blue and gold, or pink and white, etc. just mix and match tbh, using one color on every single fit you make will make you look basic, and plain 🤷‍♀️
