This week we take the 40-minute scenic drive from Noosa to the quaint town of Kin Kin. Known for its art scene and great food. The drive there will give you a feel for the wonderful scenery surrounding the area. Kin Kin is an aboriginal word referring to a small black ant that was common in the area.
Kin Kin began its days as a timber town and was famous because of its much sought-after cedars and eucalypts. In later years it became a perfect area for dairy farming. Nowadays many artists reside in the area including an artist who makes all his pieces from recycled metals.
Kin Kin is also close to a series of tracks and trails called the Noosa Network Trail. Walkers, mountain bike riders and horse riders are all able to use the tracks which are clearly marked.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
