As good as she undeniably is, she would be so much better if she were a classically trained soprano... if she were, she would not have to rely upon regulating her volume to emote the song... she instead would be able to sing it properly.

After watching Crazy Rich Asians, I told myself I will walk down the aisle in this song and I did last year after having to postpone our wedding once due to COVID . We had a beautiful wedding in October and COVID didn’t stop me from walking down the aisle with my mum (who raised me on her own as a single mum). This song will always make me emotional ❤️

I love listening to her voice. I like how she changes some notes on key words and she makes it personal by adding the word "so" before certain lines. I am going to be listening to more of her music and sharing this song with my sixteen year old daughter. This is her favorite song by Elvis. I knew it I knew it I knew it! When the wedding scene in CRA came on the screen I was thinking “wait a minute, this sounds familiar and she looks familiar”. So nice to see such a beautiful cover sung by such a beautiful lady make it to the big screen! I first took notice of Kina from her roles in some of Wong Fu Productions shorts. Her voice is magical.

My Dad used to sing this on videoke and later in HS when I finally comprehend the message of this song.
