Just wanna shoutout Tim for getting straight to the point when he hosts. Some episodes of KF take 10+ mins of talking about nonsense before the actual topic starts. Tim is there usually 3-4 mins max, and it’s great, keep it up!

70 hours into Elden Ring here and I’m new to Souls likes. I’m heading to Layndell and I’m lvl 85 with the Dark Moon Greatsword. Loving the game, exploring as much as I feel I can as I go along!! Thanks for your input as I’m still undecided on the dlc purchase!

I used to feel the same.. Now I don’t. These games are amazing.. they are hard and ruthless but I said damn it I’m going to get better at these and I still struggle with them, but exploring these worlds is so much fun. There’s nothing quite like it in gaming right now.

Love the convo. This is what made Elden Ring amazing to begin with. 9.5/10/9.0. All three scores are great and I'm just overall excited to get back into the world. Jacksepticeye is very fun to watch play FromSoft games, btw. Deff check him out as he's just a big fan as well. He knows the game fairly well and loves his Bonk build. lol

Btw most op weapons have been nerfed in the 1.12 patch so don't even think of abusing blasphemous blade it can't knock down enemy anymore and dark moon greatsword also has been nerfed. Also moonviel

I dunno how I feel about deducting 0.5 from the score because it didn’t make you feel as excited as the original, when you just played thru the original leading up to the DLC.. Maybe had you not just played thru Elden Ring all the way through again, you would feel more “excited”? I haven’t played the game since release.. I booted the game up last week just to get back into the feel of things and I’m incredibly excited for the DLC now and getting to experience more of this world because it feels so fresh and new again having taken such a long break from the game.. I also just feel it’s an unfair dock on any game to say the sequel doesn’t give you the cloud 9 level of excitement as the first game.. That’s just the nature of sequels, it’s practically impossible to capture that again no matter how great a game, movie, book, or album is..

Dang, a Fromsoft DLC is 30-50+ hours long of high quality content for $40. Meanwhile Hellblade 2 is only 5 hours long for $50, a “game” where you are mostly watching cutscenes and the little gameplay that it has consists of walking forward in high fidelity and basic self-solving puzzles while people are screaming useless information in your ears non-stop smh

Well goodfellas is great, but the Synder cut of the justice league is twice as long so it’s clearly the better movie. Length doesn’t equal quality. Hellblade has many flaws, the fact it’s not a 50 hour open world RPG is not one of them

Kind of a bummer using pronouns for the final boss. Probably could have gone without that info. If it’s Mesmer, that’s fine because it’s been teased but many people think that he is a red herring.
