Kindle Scribe Experience over the last 6 months

When the Kindle Scribe was first announced I was excited, very excited. Until the review starting coming out.
I was looking for a digital notebook and ideally one that had an E-Ink screen and a way to also read my Kindle library, so when the first set of KZfaq videos starting coming out around the Scribe I was honestly disappointed.
A few months later however I decided to bite the bullet and order the Scribe, a decision to this day I have not regretted.
For me its almost perfect, it has a great writing experience, I have access to my full Kindle Library, it has already started to replace a large chunk of my physical notebooks and is honestly one of my preferred ways to read.
But its not for everyone. I know big surprise. (maybe those KZfaq videos had a point!)

From about 1:26 - 1:48, the audio disappears from the video. Otherwise, I really enjoyed your video. I liked the hardware and writing feel of the scribe, I just found the software to be a little too limited for my needs and gave the Scribe to my mother as she has bad eyesight and enjoys reading on the bigger screen. My two note taking devices are the Boox note air 3c for planning and annotating books, and the Supernote Nomad as my on the go note taking and daily driver.

Not sure what has happened with the audio there will look into that! Yeah I do agree around the software side, really wont be for everyone, does just what I need it to do, but does seem to be limiting when you compare to something like the Remarkable 2.

nice video! I've been watching a lot of kindle scribe videos lately as I've been going back and forth on if I should buy it or not. bigger display would be nice as eyesight isn't the best, I do most of my reading at home so portability isn't too much of a issue for me and the note taking would be nice, but hearing the tips run out that frequently is a bummer - but I guess regular pencils and pens with paper would run out eventually too... I've been thinking of maybe just buying the scribe and getting some hands on with it so I can really get a feel for the size and weight too and returning it if it doesn't work for me. your video has been the most convincing for me!

@@memoryrepeating it's a really tricky one to recommend but I know it's been great for me, display size is great, writing is acceptable for what I do, but yeah the tips are annoying. I haven't found it a deal breaker since you can buy a good amount on Amazon, just another price if you were not expecting it!
