My profound gratitude to Austin's dad for raising such a loving little boy. If only the world were full of Austin's! Steve Hartman's kids are among the luckiest of kids....they too are exceptional young people . Imagine having a parent teaching these kinds of lessons to you at an early age. What a blessing to the world.

Empathy is very important! I stutter and it is honestly the last handicap that can be made fun of openly and with little interference. I've stuttered for 58 years, it's been terrible! I was bullied and laughed at my entire life. It led me too drug addiction and sorrow. I only got myself above this through hard work and college. Studying civil engineering and making honor roll every senester is what got me out of it. Unfortunately my kidneys failed and I was immediately put on dialysis. Three days a week four hours each day. Then came the heart attack, then the strokes, then the broken back, then the seizures, then the eye injections! Every 8 weeks a syringe was jammed into my eye! Ugh. For 8 years! Can you say PTSD? Lol! I'm going blind but it's ok. Stuttering is such a handicap! Debilitating! It's the silence we all suffer from. Not being able to talk fluently is very distressing. My w
