Great work Peter 😊 I work for a company that has a rather large imput into the Harrier and it sounds like you had more problems with your kit than we do with our parts 😂

I feel your pain. I wrote books on how to build Kinetic kits on the S2F Tracker and the EA6B Prowler. I had to correct loads of similar mistakes in the instructions.

You battled on Peter and the result was a superb build! I salute you!

Applying the aerials and other lumps and bumps to my GR.3. Fit of parts is well below average for such a recent tooling. A lot of sanding and re-scribing is required unfortunately. I replaced the wheel wells with Aires resin items and they actually fit with less fuss than some of the kit parts. It has been quite the battle to get to this point. One really annoying thing is that the aerials all have tabs on the bottom but there are no holes for them to fit into the fuselage! Almost at the painting stage anyway but my FRS.1 will have to wait a while before it sees the light of day. Great looking model Peter!

An amazing result, given all of the trials and tribulations. I admire your patience and perseverance. I had a similar experience with a Kinetic Mirage III. I ended up giving in is disgust. Will never buy a Kinetic kit ever again!

Kotare Spitfire - no engine - no problem - the Tamiya spitfire is for you then... (and 50% more $) - can't wait to start my Kotari Spitifre - build the Revell mk2 last year, and defn in the box looks 3x better (just finishing up the Airfix Anson - which is for me a 9/10 - the best Airfix kit I've build - [last 2 years, Lancaster, vulcan, 2xP51s, valiant])... Intresting this is a older tool Kenetic - built the F104 and it was wonderful... good to know the problems with this kit...(I've one in the stash).

Hi Peter. I built 2 of these sea harriers and can honestly say this put me completely off model making. Shame as they look very accurate to the real thing but totally not worth the pain. Have you read Sea Harrier over the Falklands by Sharky Ward by the way?

Apart from that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play.... It is unfortunate that Tamiya, Meng, Z-M and certain others cannot do everything... By the way, speaking of Hercules, it could not have been nearly as bad as cleaning out the Augean Stables.. Thanks again Peter for an informative video.

At least if the Airfix Harrier turns into “another winter of discontent”, the consolation is you won’t have spent an arm and a leg buying it Peter.

These kits always get a great "review" on a certain modelling site.............lol Those instructions do look a lot better than the Kinetc legacy Hornets............

Hi Peter Love the Channel. If you think Kinetic are bad you should or should I say should not try a Kittyhawk kit. I think they are both from the same factory and the same lack of designers . I built the 1/48 Grumman Cougar and almost lost the will to live, nearly binned it a few times but it cost me $AU80 and it was not gonna let it beat me. I could write a couple of pages on its faults. Thank fully they went bust and I see Kinetic are selling kits with cheap postage so maybe there going the same way
