I was told by an electrician that if your in zone 1 and you cannot reach the switch that was ok and he also stated that you can have a standard socket if it’s 3 metres from zone one. I must admit I was surprised at this as that was why I used the kinetic switch. Just shows how varied the standard of so called qualified sparks are. It’s just like so many you tube channels that show tradesmen putting right other tradesmen poor quality work. That’s why I am a DIYer. Thanks for your comment

@@smoggydrones5664 I'm a spark of some 35 years mate,and your man is definitely wrong about the switch, the 3 meter rule on sockets has recently been reduced to 2.5 meters,I must admit I love these kinetic switches, pull cords are so ugly,nice bathroom by the way 👍

@@dancrawford2690 I’ve just checked it out on PC/ internet. Unless I’m missing something it’s correct unless it’s changed in the 18th edition.

@@dancrawford2690 the bathroom May look ok but I had so much trouble with the company. I made a series of video,s about it but did a deal with the company and took them down :)
