How do plants contribute to the emission of carbon dioxide?, Doesn't the word 'Livestock' refer to animals that are farmed for materials, so how is it a natural contributor to greenhouse gas emissions? **Agriculture is manmade. Why didn't you just use 'biosphere, animals, biota' instead - respiration is a natural co2 source, many other animals (other than cows, sheep, etc -'livestock') also produces methane (including humans). Forest fires can be manmade as well. This presentation confused me.

Plymouth Rock at sea level in 1620 and it still is at sea level in 2023. You can go visit it and take pictures of I while it's still at sea level but you better hurry the water is rising just as fast as it was rising since 1620 yep you don't have much time. You wouldn't want to wait until it's ten feet under the waves. Any moment now !

Anyone ever think of asking these environmentalists/climatologists exactly what % of CO2 do they want in the atmosphere? They are always saying there is too much CO2 and it must be reduced to stop the world from overheating, but they never say by how much. Do they prefer an ice age? The world has a CO@ level of about 400 ppm today, has been as high as 1700ppm before, and plant life will die if the level goes below 150ppm. There is no evidence that CO2 causes temperatures to rise but there is evidence that high temperatures cause CO2 to rise hundreds to thousands of years after the high temperatures have passed. The burning of fossil fuels may cause rises in CO2 levels but this helps feed plant life and would be good for crops etc. Humans prosper when weather is warmer. The Chinese, Africans and Indians are not going to give up burning fossil fuels such as coal and wood. Western societies once burned those fuels until gas, electricity and nuclear means were invented or discovered. Are we foolish enough to think these other countries are going to give up their chance at being as prosperous and comfortable because we say so? I don't think so.

I agree but it's too late. It's a joke to do something about it now. The cycle has already started , which is a natural cycle. The last 90 years of pollution just helped it out and sped up things.

Does the thickness of an atmosphere affect the surface temperature regardless of greenhouse gases? If the Earth is warmer will it not radiate more energy out to space?
@thethinkingman-
@thethinkingman- 3 жыл бұрын
what you dont understand is the DATA shows us the sun makes most of the heat on earth ! sure, more clouds will block the sun and cool the earth but more clouds means more rain ! more rain means floods ! so there is the problem ! so we will have to wait for bigger computers to figure it all out moving forward !
@wrath276
@wrath276 3 жыл бұрын
@@thethinkingman- The point I was making is that the rate of temperature increase as you travel down through the atmospheres of Earth and Venus is the same after correcting for the difference in the Sun's energy being received even though the composition of their atmospheres are quite different. The average surface temperature is a function of the Sun's energy and the thickness of the atmosphere. It does not depend on the type of gas present. Weather is a result of the energy in the atmosphere being distributed throughout it.
@thethinkingman-

@@wrath276 more clouds=more heat reflected into space. energy absorption/relection varies with gas type.
@Diponty
@Diponty 2 жыл бұрын
@@wrath276 Weather and or climate change is a function of thousands of contributions. Not just the energy in the atmosphere being distributed throughout it. Jupiter plays a role in our weather. More than you would think. Not to mention solar wind which effects both cosmic radiation hitting Earth and warming of the Earth's core through electromagnetic induction. The weather is so complicated that it is more of a guess out more than a week or 2 and climate change models always seem to be. We see CO2 as the enemy lets make a model to match that conclusion. ie curve fitting.

(Al-An'aam) 6 : 38 *And not any animal on the Earth, nor any bird flying with its two wings except as a community just like you; We have not omitted anything in the Book, then into their Lord they all will be summoned.* There are 1000 communities including mankind in the world as explained by Lord through His Messengers. Out of this 600 are in water whereas the rest 400 are in the land. It is told in verses 17: 44, 24: 41 and 22: 18 that all creatures are praying, praising and glorifying the Lord Allah by their soul. The spirit (life+ soul) of all the creatures is from the spirit of Lord itself. The difference of mankind from other creatures is that they are bestowed with the intelligence and they are deputed to earth to bear the representation of Lord Allah. So it is the duty of the mankind to cultivate food for all creatures and to maintain air, water etc. in pure by planting trees and promoting organic cultivation aiming for the wellbeing of 1000 communities of creatures in the world. Today the Muslims(Fujjar) who are only reading these verses by rejecting and hiding Lord’s Book have become the Mujirims without utilizing the intelligence. They are the inmates of hell fire from mankind and are the worst creatures among the 400 communities in the land as told in verse 98: 6 and the worst creatures near the Lord among the 1000 communities of creatures as told in verse 8: 22. See the explanation 2: 159- 160, 3: 19 and 5: 86. *From Adhikr-the Best Interpretation of Lord's Book* www.straightpathonline.com

There is no saving the earth it is doomed to expire. Just like every thing else that is on earth everything will perish. But there is only one way to beat this and that is to belive in your heart that Jesus shed his blood for the atonement of sin and if you will only believe you can take part in eternal life.

K Gobal Warming Will End----God's Way The Bible tells us that "the Former of the earth and the Maker of it .... did not create it simply for nothing." (Isaiah 45:18) The Bible also says: "The earth endures forever." .... Ecclesiastes 1:4) The New English Bible. Yes, God will not allow the earth to be rendered uninhabitable. Rather, he will intervene in human affairs and bring an end to failed human rule and those who have no regard for the earth. At the same time, he will preserve alive all who lead morally upright lives and sincerely want to please him. Says Proverbs 2:12, 22: "The upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it."

Are you stupid or something.. There were times that there was 30 times more co2 in the air as now, and the world did it much better than now. You understand that the earth can also cool down to much ? Than you come in cycle where you not can come out.. Cooling down for the planet is 10 times much worse as a bit warming. The only problem with this climate change is that they cut down all forests.. We need to plant trees.. trees making from co2 o2.. Thats all.
