I am always amazed by the eloquence and clarity with which King Charles speaks and delivers his speeches. From politics to economics to climate change to hello kitty, he encompasses everything ... and also delivers his speeches from the heart. He is one in a trillion on this planet. Wishing you full recovery & still a long life King Charles!

Sad that Catherine POW is not there - but totally understand her need to rest. Just would love to see her in tiara. Absolutely wonderful to see the formal occasion. The Empress looks very regal with her tiara ❤️

A grand occasion that is enriched by the obvious affection between the Royalty from both nations.

The best example is the Royal Chrysanthemum Dynasty of Nippon. The world's oldest, continuous royal family, over 1,000 years old, is known for its ZEN attitude: less is more, simplicity and modesty, not pomp and excess.

As a Japanese I can't thank enough HRM Queen Elizabeth 2, who invited late Emperor Hirohito, reigning Emperor's grandfather after the WW2 and made a quite positive speech for the future, it was reported. Former Emperor Akihito, his son had the pleasure to attend to Queen Elizabeth's coronation ceremony back in 1953. He was still a 19 year-old college student and he enjoyed a horserace w the queen. Two countries had a good relationship before/after the war, even though the wartime was terrible to be honest. Reigning emperor loved studying in Oxford grad school in his younger days, he wrote a book about it. He was invited to Balmoral Castle and we hear RF did a picnic w him🍄 Also he married Masako who was a student in Harvard and Oxford university and fluent in English (plus some French I believe). They wanted to get back to Britain while QE2 was reigning, but the huge Tsunami occurred in Japan and they decided not to visit overseas for a while, and then covid... So, this is a rare opportunity and some Japanese comments say they are in tears for happiness, impressed by the welcoming atmosphere there (as always). Many thanks to the King and everyone in the UK who kindly made this happen 🇬🇧👑🥂🎌💂💝

Best thing to come from Japan is learning about their culture and traditions. I’m building a house Japanese style with central courtyard and a tree growing in the centre.

Reading some of these comments.. Deluded I’m afraid, those big fur hats their guards wear ? Made from real bears fur. King Charles granddads brother should have been king but denounced his place because he fell in love with a divorcee, and that was NOT allowed,what has the king of today done? married a divorcee but what’s more he was having an affair with her all the time he was with the Princess Diana. He’s bad tempered and very rude and as for his wife she has caused so much trouble between William, Catherine and their children as well as Harry. Those boys begged their father not to marry Camilla. So to the many British people he is no king or a Queen and think William should take their place.
