If you're going to remake something and add modern tones like diversity, THIS the way to do it. By using actual English and Europeans you manage to make it feel even more authentic.

This movie was so underrated. What I see is a cool fantasy setting with the wit of Guy Ritchie, drug induced powers, kick ass banter (especially with Rus Bolton at the start). I knew as soon as I saw this banter back and forth I was in for a treat of a movie. Theres no romance, just bromance, and the lads getting stuck into fights and becoming a kingdom. What more can you want?

I Loved EVERYTHING about this movie. It has got everything an action/adventure movie should have. Especially a great ending. Bravo to everyone contributing to this one -- especially the Director and Charlie (King Arthur). Hoping it will develop a cult following in future years. I don't know more you could ask for from a movie of this type.

Such an under rated movie .. I mean of course it's not an Oscar winner, but I love watching it whenever it's on. Plus the actress who played The mage (Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey) was one of the best things about this movie in my opinion. Aside from being very attractive, I just loved the way she played her part with a very no nonsense attitude, and great line delivery ...

A lot of people can't afford to go to the box office to watch these movies. Me personally I have to wait for it to hit the $5 bin at Walmart. If it was a three-hour movie it would have been great. One of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. People should stop listening to movie critics. Because their opinions have been bought and solid. Stop looking at the reviews and see the movies yourself. Really wish they would make a second movie even a 6th with the same actors. The thing that disappoints about sequels. Is they always try to change the actors. Extremely bad idea.

Should have been able to make the sequels according to Charlie Hunnam somebody messed up so they won't be made this was a great movie

I honestly thought that this was a great movie, different from your usual medieval fantasy, but it worked, even if it butchered the legend a bit. I mean, Caliburn was the Sword in the Stone and Excalibur is the sword bequeathed to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake. This movie probably has some of the best "montage" moments I've seen, and not only that, it's simply fun and amazing to watch. The montage of Arthur transitioning from child to man was simply one of the best I've ever seen. It showed so little and yet showed so much. It gave us a picture of how Arthur came to be, his ego and his aspirations, yet left things out for people to make their own interpretation.

Indeed. But most of the movies\series about King Arthur legend place Excalibur as the sword in the stone, but suposedly it was indeed Caliburn. And Excalibur toguether with it's scabbard was supposedly made by fairies and given to him by the Lady Of The Lake. But i don't remember any series\movies that show it as such, i don't even remember any that showed the scabbard as anything besides a normal piece of leather or some other material, when actually the scabbard was Arthur's greatest treasure that prevented him from dying even from deadly wounds, even if in the Myth he prefered the sword over it.

This movie got a bad wrap. I really enjoyed it. I really think they should have done a tv show with it, because there is so much of that world that we don't get to see and they had some great characters that just needed more in-depth arcs added.... lol

Looks great! But the whole ambience will be shattered when Beckham suddenly appears and with his horrid twang wrentches you out of the fantast and in to reality. What the hell was the director doing when he did this. It like putting Beckham into the london Philharmonic to play the violin and wreck a peformance. I seriously doubt the other actors, professionals, can feel happy having their art ridiculed.

The problem with this film: IT DROPS THE SOAP TOO MANY TIMES -between extra Testosterone-shots some may have needed this film to feel like the Real T's... not sure if it's physical need or psychological that compelled anyone to make this rubbish. But they dropped the soap and bent too much.. to get it, it's that self-evident

This movie was horrendously awful, I was hoping for some greatness, but it was terrible from beginning to end, Charlie's acting was the worst part of this movie, I can see why it lost sooo much money at the box office
