King Ayisoba and his band of band of musicians and dancers is currently touring Europe. He has played several times in Denmark, where this video was recorded, and will be back for a special performance at Roskilde Festival 2014.
King Ayisoba comes from the village Bongo Soe near Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana. His music is a unique and powerful mix of traditional kologo music mixed with intense afroblues rhythms. His debutalbum "Modern Ghanaians" received several awards and King Ayisoba is now releasing a new CD and LP in 2014.
