King Boo in Luigi's Mansion: A formidable and cunning foe, being extremely calm in most sitautions. King Boo in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon: Being trapped in that painting made him a bit of a sociopath and downright sadistic, and now is even a bigger threat than before. He is well aware that we were stalking him, without us knowing it until he decided to jumpscare us during that camera intervention in E-3. King Boo in Luigi's Mansion 3: He is pushed over the edge and borders on total insanity. He is still a sociopath and sadistic but now he is so desperate on getting rid of Luigi that he was willing to trap *himself* on his painting for all eternity. Even with the spite 'help' from Hellen Gravely, she was worthless to him saying that he has to do everything himself.

You know that you made a boo angry when he doesn't smile anymore

King boo: *makes the painting big enough to suck up the entire hotel* Luigi: guess I'll die.

There were people who were disappointed that Luigi's Mansion 2 was too easy, King Boo included. And then this came. THIS is the real nightmare.

Dang, they didn't make this boss easy in the slightest. Perfect.

King Boo gets REALLY angry in this game. It legit sent chills down my spine from intimidation.

I love how in every sequence of luigi's mansion king boo starts to get more enraged with luigi,in the first game he focus was in mario,and didn't really cared about luigi,in dark moon,he started to focus in both,mario and luigi and a rematch,but when we reach luigi's mansion 3, he doesn't care with mario anymore,all he wants now is to defeat luigi once and for all

Does anyone else feel like Mario and Bowser don’t have much emotion in their fights, but Luigi and King Boo do? Like Luigi is terrified and King Boo is enraged, while Mario and Bowser are like “meh”?

Massive spoilers!! Slamming King Boo into the ground was sooo satisfying, especially since this fight isn’t easy. God bless they didn’t make this boss a push over, not afraid to say I died a few times.

This game is just the culmination of King Boo’s insanity. He lured, not just Mario, but the princess as well to an illusionary hotel, not too dissimilar to what he did in his first outing, trapped them all in paintings, E. Gadd included, only for him to tell Luigi that he’s fed up with him. I’m pretty sure that even after trapping Luigi he was going to destroy the painting so he wouldn’t meddle with his plans anymore! And he NEVER CRACKS A SINGLE SMILE IN THE ENTIRE GAME! Instead, he glares and snarls and growls and screams at Luigi! Letting him know he’s not just out for a normal revenge. He’s out to KILL Luigi and his friends. He’s completely forgotten how much trouble Mario’s caused him in the past and moved on to wanting to kill Luigi for what he did to him. Trapping him in a painting for all eternity. And now, this is his chance. He finally has the chance to do the same to the entire world.

This moment just screams "I'm gonna die if I don't get King Boo, NNNOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Personally I find king boo more terrifying than bowser he actually plans and backups those plans and in this game instead of Bowser’s stop Mario from reaching me he literally is like I’m gonna either put him in this frame or I will kill him. It makes me wonder if king boo could command Bowser’s army than bowser ever could, even prof e.gadd is more worried about king boo than bowser it seems that he makes putting king boo in containment a critical top priority (and yes for the memes even over money)

what does bowser do? lazily throw slow spike balls, goombas, koopas, and fireballs at you, of which can easily be jumped over. what does king boo do? break your ankles, send ghosts out for blood after you, manipulate the atmosphere itself, and threaten the planet's destruction unless you vacuum him up in under 2 minutes.

This phase only took me like 30 seconds to beat, I was incredibly surprised.

I've played all three main Luigi's Mansion games, but this is the first Luigi's Mansion game that I have ever completed.

Anyone realize that in this game every enemy and boss in this game (except Morty) seemed to go completely out of their way to hinder Luigi in some way if not outright kill him? Heck the entire building is a death trap. This game really made you feel King Boo's influence. Everything here to the enemies to the traps and puzzles. It was designed with his sadism and mental torment tricks in mind. Heck at this point King Boo is just a complete lunatic. In the first game he had some sense of honor but also a sense of vengeance. In the second game he was like "I don't care anymore. I'm going to merge dimensions to get even With Luigi even if it destroys the world in the process." Then in the third game he just ditches this completely and is like "Forget taking over the world. I'm going to get all my enemies and trap them in portraits for eternity alive or otherwise and will go to the lengths of using others to achieve this. I will put the entire dang world in a portrait if I have to." Hellen cared for King Boo but King Boo didn't care at all. She in the end was just another pawn to him. He doesn't care about the Boos, he doesn't care about his fans. All he wants now is revenge. It has made him insane. King Boo has in a way become the most dangerous of Bowser's followers even more so then Kamek or Bowser Jr. Heck Bowser himself wouldn't go to these lengths. King Boo conducted around 3 plans (4 if you count the arcade) without Bowser's involvement at all all motivated by petty revenge. He's cunning but he's also insane. King Boo probably represents what Bowser would have turned into if he ditched any sense of moral constraint towards his people or his son and was only motivated on killing the Mario Bros not matter the means of doing so. It makes one think how Bowser would react if he ever met the new King Boo. He probably would fear him.

Phase 3 of this battle is the reason why this battle is so difficult
