The newly crowned King and Queen smiled at the thousands lining the streets as they were carried in the Gold State Coach back to Buckingham Palace.
The Princess Royal followed behind on horseback in her role as Gold Stick and Colonel The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1S Dragoons).
Next came the carriage with the Prince and Princess of Wales inside, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Five-year-old Louis waved eagerly from the window.

Absolutely beautiful ceremony. I watched from Australia. I loved the emotion on King Charles face when Prince William kissed him after his pledge…I think I lip read the King say “My boy”

The whole ceremony and procession was elegant and beautifully arranged. England must be proud of themselves, their tradition and culture that other country don’t have.

As a human being endowed with sensitivity I felt for Charles (and Camilla) during the coronation; anyone with a heart could see how the emotion of the occasion got to them.

Camilla was contemplating how fast it seemed to go from good times with a hot young prince to becoming a queen she didn't sign up for...Charles looked like he wanted to crack up so hard when she curtseyed to him. If only Princess Diana had lived to see the day, her facial expressions would have been priceless
