Sparrow, Melody, Fighter, Canary, Blakie, Terror; these musics are on such a high plain that is hard to imagine any music ever reaching that plateau ever again! The sophistication and execution of the arrangements alone is to die for. Thank god this stuff is recorded and thanks for posting!

King Fighter lived for a short time in Suriname. He made a commercial 45 for the Jong Tjin Fa conglomerate ( family ) called Datsun & Jong Tjin Fa ( about the stuff the Stores sold ) ALMOST impossible to find. According to my information only a few copies where made.

The Style that Fighter sang in was actually Guyanese SHANTO. Even though the African styles are all related, Shanto actually influenced the development of Trinidadian Kaiso.
