This takes me back to watching King King in small venues, one of my favourite tunes they did, absolute legends all of them. Superb!

Buddy Guy would even dig this version no doubt and I seen buddy do this song here in Peoria Illinois while it was actually starting to rain on the riverfront till security escorted him off stage due to the lightening on the water but you could tell Buddy wanted to keep on playing under the tarp awning! It was a beautiful thing man!!

Looking forward to their set in the "Keeping the Blues Alive" cruise later in 2023. Not sure if the band will have this on their set list but if they do and could give a shout-out to Anne and Andy Anderson I would be made up. Keep rocking guys - beautiful melody, improv and stunning guitar.
what a great cover...just frickin great...thank you...

King King it's a great band. Some years ago i bought a ticket for their concert. For some reasons concert was cancelled (no COVID at that time, other reason), apart a dry communication for cancellation, never receive a reimbursement nor communication for a new date. Yes great band, poor people. Very disappointed
@benzo77492 жыл бұрын
It's not the band's fault, you should have contacted the venue and the tour promoters
@fabio68642 жыл бұрын
@@benzo7749 you are right. Please pass me the contact number or the promoter name, not necessary for the venue, they had no idea of what happened. Many thanks
@benzo77492 жыл бұрын
The venue would know who the promoters were, you need to investigate as I don't know what venue or even what year you are referring to. If that was me I would have phoned the venue straight away as my money is very hard earned and I would fight for reimbursement. Good luck, probably too late now but worth a shot?
@fabio68642 жыл бұрын
@@benzo7749 i think your approach is wrong. I paid for a service (concert) and the service was not provided. As you said money is hardly gained but time has more value. Therefore i don't waste my time to investigate, it should be care of the promoter or the band to communicate for reimbursement or next date available. It happened for many other events in these 2 years, I've been always notified. it hasn't happened with KK. Good, i don't waste time and money anymore with them. Fair enough in my opinion and thanks for sending your thoughts
