This is one of the classic scenes in any movie! It's so memorable. Years late, Godzilla would also attack a train in Godzilla, King of the Monsters 1954.

The original Japanese version is a great film IMO. The bastardized American version with Raymond Burr at the center doesn't do justice to the original (I have nothing against Raymond Burr).

Still exciting and, yes, terrifying, in all of its film noir glory, nearly 90 years later. It drives me absolutely bonkers to hear people today ridicule the special effects of that era. This film was absolutely breathtaking, groundbreaking work. Supposedly, even today some of the specific techniques remain a mystery. Think of it -- at that time, the talkies had been out for only four years or so! My father, who saw King Kong in a theater when it first came out, told me that the audience actually screamed.

And to be perfectly honest. This long acts more like an actual gorilla would in this situation. A wild giant ape isn’t going to go ice skating. He’s gonna year stuff up just because he’s an animal and that’s how he thinks
@paulanthony52744 жыл бұрын
Imagine if he did want to go ice skating 'What's that size 74 skates,sorry we don't have them in that size' "GRRRROOAAAARRRR GRRRRROOOAAAARRRRR" 'OK no need to get aggressive,I just work here'

Peter Null There’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t negatively affect the viewing of the B&W version in any way, and to be honest, it’s a nice addition to any King Kong fans collection.

Even though Kong attacked New York City he is a pretty sympathetic creature. He was simply taken away from his own home against his will by heartless humans especially Carl Denham.
