This, ladies and gentleman, is the future of theme park rides. Can't say I don't like it, either! that must've been so freakin' awesome!

This one is so amazing!! We went on the studio tour twice just to see King Kong again.

I've been on the old Kong attraction a few times, always found it to be pretty boring. The new King Kong 3D is waaaay better! It's more fun, it literally puts you in the action, feels so real.

i've never been on these rides but from what i saw king kong was the best 3d experience on ride it!!

Been on this "ride" over 10 times...probably the BEST 3D entertainment in all Universals/theme parks! It's a crazy, almost realistic experience. You really feel like you're on Skull Island!

When Disney starts to do this, which I know they will, it'll be quite interesting. Taking movie classics and creating rides like this. I want to see a Jurassic Park 3D ride!

Amazing! I cannot wait to go on this ride. This is the way all rides will be soon. Jaws, Jurassic Park, Transformers, Avatar etc.

This is what I like about this mini ride: There are many things happening on BOTH SIDES, like you are distracted by a cool part on one side, but on the other screen epic things are happening.

Extra footage of king kong only made for the ride, awesome! I can't wait to go to Universal Studios Hollywood one day!!!

I went there for vacation this year, in 2011, and IT WAS THE BEST RIDE EVER!!!!! I sooo want to go on again! I Heart King Kong. :D :DDD

I can't wait to go on. i cant believe its so short though. but its fine. i'm just really excited that this is kind of the beginning of it's kind. i mean 3-D 360?? GENIUS!! i think there will be plenty more rides like this to come :)

The original attraction was and still is amazing. However, this is actually a worthy substitute.

It's actually amazing and NOT junk. I've been on it and while the original, animatronic Kong was a great technological feat, this is a whole lot more immersive and realistic than the original attraction. You can't judge the ride based on this video, you need to experience it to get it.

BEST 3D EVER!!!!! BETTER THAN AVATAR!!!

It's in 3D, so it's not just a screen. It immerses you into the Island through the technology. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't "believe" that the Kong in Kongfrontation was real due to his limited movement and just standing in one place. With 360 3D, this Kong literally leaps around like how King Kong should, therefore being more realistic in my opinion.

Animatronic King Kong > 3D King Kong. Nothing tops the original.

King Kong to the rescue

I haven't sut down to watch the original King Kong movie, but people say it's a masterpiece of film making. However , I've watched the Peter Jackson movie and it was magical. It really drew me in, especially when the crew had fallen in the canyon and those huge insects attacked them. I thought they were all going to die. You don't get that feeling in movies anymore! Why do people hate on this new version?

I really liked this. it was really realistic. Kong spits and you feel water on your face. when you move the image moves and you feel wind on your face. it was truly great. When I went they also had a wrecked tram car sitting in front of the entrance. It was great foreshadowing.

this is my favorite. I got on this ride 3 times at halloween horror nights. I want to do it again.
