Real good assessment of the interview this, I see some taking offense with aspects of it but the man was just sharing his journey he spoke his truth, sure he made many mistakes along the way but he is a better person for it.

Kong evoked all the emotions, he made you emotional when he shead tears, he made you laugh when he recalled his past. Respect to teach and respect to Kong. @@TeachDem your programme bring back so many childhood memories from hearing many entertainers talk about events or people, who I knew directly or indirectly. I can surely attest to many of these stories from Jungle 12 to NY, and many other places. It is great to hear about these music geniuses and their plight as a regular Joe, so the world can see the human side of them, which I witnessed growing up in Augustown and then Brooklyn and Hartford CT. Your programme has surely made me understand how rich I am. I traveled the same path with many of these people, but I remained who I am. Just a simple man traveling Jah land with his little butter pan. I now meet young people who are desperately interested in the 80's era and it's happenings. The greatest time in black history since the creation of the pyramids. In my opinion. I grew up in Brooklyn between Brownsville and Bedford Stuyvesant.

Teach, I just love your interviews, they are funny, interesting, historical, informative, filled with laughter, We all go back in time in the musical industry. They always reveal the hidden truths. .One thing that remains common in all interviews is the corruption in the business. Back then the artistes just loved the music but the producers were ripping them off. King Kong is funny and is real... Watch him a rub out him weed...Great interview with animation at its best... King Kong is the best.

King is a great Artist, sing with Tenor saw style, Tenor Saw had a wicked style, we did'nt get enough of it because he died too young, some artist tried to push the style but King Kong was the most successful with songs like I FEEL THE JOY, and TROUBLE AGAIN, good job teach them.

Well put he may be the most successful now due to the fact that he is still alive now, but Nitty Gritty had far more songs that were bigger than King Kongs

Teach Dem! Continue doing the excellent work. In the 80s here Azania (South Africa)🇿🇦 Trouble Again and More Insane same Riddim with Junior Murvin's tune title "Apartheid" were killer tunes inna de dance. Very interesting and fascinating interview of King Kong. Big up to King Kong.
