unbiased opinion, Seulgi's voice suited the song better. The other singer is good too, but her nasal singing doesn't fit. She has good tone color though

Tbh, Seulgi should have won this round because she suited the song most. However, Ali won because she has that type of voice where you will say 'I want to hear her more in the next round' type. Seulgi still did a great job considering that she compete against Ali - a veteran korean singer. If this was Idol vs. Idol, Seulgi will definitely gonna win it. I hope she'll join again this show, her vocals has improved so much from the past 5 years.

I agree that Seulgi's voice suits the song better, but I think part of why she lost is because it's pretty clear the other singer (ALi) is holding back (to me anyway). If the audience recognized that, which I'm sure many of them did, I would have voted for her just to see what she had up her sleeve singing solo.

I absolutely kkow that Ali is a legend but for me Seulgi won this one hands down, mosty because her voice suited the song much better and Ali seemed a bit off beat and pressured I don't know what happened to her but Seulgi was amazing and also such an a mazing cover for an iconic song👏👏

Yeah, yeah, I've heard Ali on Immortal Songs and several other times...she has a powerful voice and sounds very good on low notes and the middle range (if you don't dislike her Timbre), but the high notes, not so much. She can compete well on a show like this only with favorable song choices. She can't sing a song like Seulgi's solo nearly as well as Seulgi did. Listen to her attempt the high notes on ImSongs and consider whether it's enjoyable to listen to. I think Seulgi should have won, and if she had a song that enphasized the high end of her range, would have won. Right or wrong, the high notes usually are what separate the singers (especially females), in this case they didn't. That was a bit unfair to Seulgi, imo.

poor Seulgi going against Ali... she was absolutely amazing, but Ali is Ali.... gotta say, her solo performance was brilliant, almost brought tears to my eyes...

Seulgi just sang like one of the girls' generation... Her voice is "normal" and good of course. ALi has this raspy and husky tone that doesn't suit well in this kind of song BUT she brought more techniques AND sounded way more relaxed while she was singing. ALi's voice is not for this kind of song and we all know that, but she IS a better singer and everyone can see even in this performance (and she didn't showed 1/5 of her talent let's be honest). Anyways, english is not my first language, don't be so mean if I can't write properly
