I like Nicky Barnes honestly

I read his book 'Mr Untouchable' a few years ago. People call him a rat but I disagree. Yes, he told but they handed him license to tell when they hung him out to dry. The Council had explicit rules about messing with the wives/girlfriends of another member. There was a social contract and they broke their part of the bargain first so how could they expect him to uphold his part? It's like married men who cheat and think that the marriage vows only apply to the wife and then turn around and get outraged when she steps out on him. When he found out about Guy messing with his woman he had a meeting with one of the other members and told him that he wanted Guy in a bodybag. They didn't whack Guy and then they stopped paying Barnes' lawyers fees in the middle of them trying to work an appeal of his sentence.
